My point being pricing is broken in smaller companies...all action skewed in mega caps...mag 7 or now mag 8...

The same can be said of any share if its price goes up surely.

Too many small/tiny caps pricing have drifted away last 3 - 6 months...if trading is not as bad as expected and price rises to 8 - 10p yield should come down...

I wish I had bailed as well. I've never been good at managing stop losses.

Having said that, the interim dividend was maintained, and the retrospective dividend yield is now 9.7%. The question is of course whether this can be maintained.

The annual dividend (0.56p) is costing them just shy of £4 million, and at the time of the interims they had £38.2 million in cash, so I believe that they can easily maintain it if they want to, but of course this is only my opinion.

So this is starting to look like an income play until market conditions improve, if they ever do.

The CMA has given the green light for Vodafone and Three to merge. I sense that the CMA may allow a larger group to take over HSS as the plant hire industry is quite fragmented.

I haven't read the details, but SDY's results announced on Friday seem to have been mediocre, so we may be seeing a knock-on effect on HSS.

Delisting would be a special resolution and would need approval from 75% of shareholders.

My view - they would never get it

Mjneish..

I've experienced it with a holding I had years ago.

It cuts their costs drastically.

But it makes
Trading shares really impossible for shareholders!
They could consolidate shares, taking out small holders.

Best of Luke there, I hope it doesn't happen.

But I'm out.

God help you all if they decide to de-list.

Any reason to believe that they will?
