Sold these before the ex dividend and happy to stay on sidelines. Far east will recover and thats where hsbc need to concentrate, brexit self harming basket case uk hsbc barely turn a profit, same in europe and the US not much better, with falling rates they need trade finance to make money, and that is in the far east, they should headquarter there and move, would increase share price by 30 pc.

China GDP for 1st quarter will be massively negative. Technically world markets are now in recession. Bloomberg contributor. In that case HSBC Will 2016 low of 4.20p as china as well fintech will 0ut pressure on its share price.I wish I could be bear as it is much easy to make money in falling market Which take you years to make it.

Well, factoring in the xd, HSBC did better than the FTSE today.

More pain tomorrow by the looks of it though (market open about another 1.5-2% down, going by the close on the DJIA.)
