Interesting even with this apparent 1.8M sell and include other sells during the day, the asking priced inched up and we remained at 2.00/2.10p!

Ok side topic .You are talking about China of course. It means families with two kids or more will also have more kids... Population will grow and grow .Nickel will have its day I do not doubt it. It is when and not if.How many so called experts have called the timings wrong, many and they get paid for getting it wrong .They seem to get bullish prematurely ... Called greed !The Philippines suspensions may also prove to be less of an impact initially , just as the Indonesia ban was.., The Chinese seem to find an alternative route .However I still believe we have bottomed and it is only one way and that is up.... What the figures will be in 6 ,12 months is anyone's guess.Over $10000 for sure .

LME opening stocks down below 370k again-there is a definite downwards trend in stocks -we went down almost 90,000 tonnes in 9 months.
If it goes below 300,000, with time things should start heating up with the price.
Its not rocket science to work out that a compounded 3-4% annual increase in nickel demand even with just a 2% loss of global supply from the recent phillipines mining crackdown above, translates into a lot of tonnage coming out of the market over the next year or two.That alone would be enough to take lme below 300k.

Not bad really as if they dont get bought out within these time intervals,they will have to fess up the cash or loose the options.I think they are trying to maintain some modicum of fairness in all of this -proof is in the pudding-will the pfs result be worth it ?

hxxp://www.directnickel.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/TheNickelMarketOutlook070414P.pdf Read this again Jailbird-a little old now,but gives figures and assumptions for individual projects including assumptions for tonnes of finished nickel as opposed to ferro-nickel coming into the system from Indonesian Nickel Pig Iron in successive years up to 2020.Looks balanced to me and I doubt Lennon has a huge position in Nickel either way-much more independent than the rubbish noise and anxiety that comes out of the trading banks all the time.

Contradictions everywhere,Political and institutional agenda at play It seems China has been using ferronickel from early this year .. Very clever getting from all sources But also believe that Indonesia will not be able to sustain any shortfallThis Nickel pullback is half expected But will continue upwards again over next 12 months as whole commodity sector is now recovery from its lows I have read 2 Articles on China growth One has concerns over slow down ,The is expecting another jump in growth
