27/8/2016 22:16 | Is it 4 weeks left at most to wait for this PFS? | divmad
27/8/2016 21:20 | AgreeYou can see what I mean .. not know exactly .. But was 2013 or 2016 and 2018 ( mentioned ) now 2020... Hope that sticks .. See how tomorrow never comes :-)Maybe I need to divest but I hope we will not need to wait until 2020 to make a decent return Look at others zinc plays GFM, think it has not even the permit yet.. But still riding with zinc price .Maybe PFS will move this a little higher and stabilize It is too low at this price . | jailbird
27/8/2016 21:14 | 😊 Just don't expect anything from the Nickel price until 2020,then you won't get so frustrated imv | strow
27/8/2016 16:48 | Long term view I agree .But I get frustrated when the long term view becomes even longer .!And then tomorrow never comes.Everyone has a patience threshold, would you complain if 20p arrived tomorrow instead of in 6 months. I would not .. I will be retiring. | jailbird
27/8/2016 13:38 | A balanced view can have short and long term timescales. It is patently obvious that some people are a lot more worried about a short term, than a long term balanced view. Cant afford to be worried about market "noise" with a long term balanced view. | strow
27/8/2016 11:53 | No Strow,I try to not to look with rose tinted glasses. Try be objective .. If though it pains me to read not so glowing reports , I try keep balanced .They are bulls and bears.. I try to not just read into one side ... Since as you say... Financials have their agenda I hold for longer timescale . | jailbird
27/8/2016 09:22 | You only keep getting diluted if you have no more funds or will not keep on buying-so far I am lucky enough to have kept up my percentage holding and am determined to keep it that way post bfs fundraise-appreciate not everybody is so lucky. | strow
27/8/2016 07:48 | Stow agree with you, but the problem as I keep on saying is raising money with such a low share price, Henderson are clearly using this to there advantage, we are not in that position so just get diluted to almost nothing. Hope I'm wrong. | twigs3
27/8/2016 07:34 | 5 years +. Still appear to be some jumpy traders around here.Citigroup and all the big banks are infuriating. They change the direction of their trades all the time and their change gets made on retrospective data-not really rocket science and always calling the direction of their own very short term trades. The Nickel game unless you are a short term trader is now a long term one,but the beauty of this is that on that basis, most people with more than a 2 minute horizon are in it at or near the bottom. Long term for a trading bank is 3 years +. Have to buy good assets at the bottom, but also have to be prepared to wait. All the Nickel price predictions that I have seen, don't see the price significantly improving till 2020. | strow
27/8/2016 06:53 | Have you changed your trade Jailbird or are you just alerting us to the huge risks that lie ahead for the nickel markets with a world population that is predicted to increase by a third in the next 30 years 😊 | strow
27/8/2016 06:16 | I think Nickel prices may fall a little now in the near term after a good run.Just hope we can above $9000The Indonesia ferronickel will currently offset nickel loss from Indonesia .. How long it is sustainable?City group have a different take on itNot heard of premia nickel prices in China before .( in the video ) | jailbird
25/8/2016 21:04 | Indonesia cannot supply the whole worlds smelters with ferronickel-the transport costs would be so prohibitive as to make it an untenable prospect. Clearly a lot of the recently built smelters in Indonesia have been bankrolled by the chinese to their own ends. What none of us know is how much of an overall capital loss they will be making at these Nickel prices, but my guess is they dont care anyway. They are determined not to be outmanouevred. This whole game is medium to long term (5 years +)so anyone with a shorter timescale should forget it imv. New projects will need be developed in the west to supply the needs of the Western world and that is where the incentive price becomes more relevant. JM has said on a few occasions that they will not be looking to "flex" the re-al in the pfs. This is where I believe they are wrong as you cannot take this key ingredient out of the equation and pretend it isnt there,it is. They have to demonstrate a good npv at even low Nickel prices. The reality is that we are fortunate enough to be in a part of the world where due to whatever reason our operating costs due to the weak re-al should be phenomenally low, plus if they can borrow from the Brazillian banks for the Capex, due to this, the return should be phenomenal. You cant just pretend the company doesnt have these huge advantages when one is trying to demonstrate the competitiveness in a worldwide context. | strow
25/8/2016 15:13 | China shifting their approach to import Nickel. This may slow down the rise in Nickel but not probably stop it.Any views ? | jailbird
23/8/2016 11:05 | I had that impression too. Cant say much in 2 mins | goldendigger
23/8/2016 09:14 | I had the feeling that had been clipped out of something longer? | djtown
22/8/2016 22:36 | JM probably frustrated, he has a message to get across to potential investors and had to spend half of the meagre two minute slot explaining that knives and forks have nickel in them! Unless he had more than the two minutes we can see it was a lost opportunity. | salmonn1
22/8/2016 19:55 | Thanks for that strow. Thought the same about JM, also a short interview and a bit pointless IMO. | twigs3
22/8/2016 18:33 | If this ever happens, the Nickel price will sky rocket | strow
22/8/2016 17:45 | Yes I thought that too, he looked in a bit nervous. | jailbird
22/8/2016 16:50 | Must say, thought JM looked a little jumpier than usual during that interview | strow
