An updated CAZA chart. Good news today should cement the recovery.

Property investment company IFD is developing a classic BOWL; but the Fundamental reasons for buying this stock are:

Current share price = 38.75p-39.0p

Yield: 4 x Qtly Divis of 0.88p = 3.53p/annum = 9% Yield

NAV: 57.4p so NAV discount = 32%

LTV: Borrowings only 37% v. 60% limit

For most PIs commercial property is off the radar as they don't understand the numbers – sounds patronising – but it remains a fact. For me the sector has been a bit of a gravy-train; and long may it continue. As long as you have the sense, the instinct or the plain good luck to miss the severe downturns (2008 was a horror), then the underlying asset values provide a great source of protection.

So, with IFD, the chart is interesting, the Fundamentals tick all the boxes and I am also particularly intrigued by the volumes – often a very useful further indicator. It is interesting to note that over the past 5months the volume has exceeded 1m shares on no less than 12 occasions. Could it be that a predator is accumulating perhaps...

Whatever, IFD provides exceptional value and a great yield whilst you await events.

Only up to a point Fund1. I'd been watching it for a while and it's been top of my buy list, but I've been pretty firm about asset allocation this year and didn't want to put additional cash into equities. None of my existing holdings was giving me a sell signal until yesterday, hence my delayed purchase !

Cr,

Given where ZEN is currently on a bowl formation, does that not imply that the share price is due a retrace back down to the underlying bowl trend?
