14/4/2011 18:14 | Posted the RMV bowl here at the start of the thread - take a look at it today - £10 :-) base of the bowl was around 170p CR | cockneyrebel
14/4/2011 18:12 | Blubelle - HVE made £2m profit in H2, they've already said as much. They also have nearly £100m in sales and a £5m mkt cap. The tiniest rise in margins mean that profits soar. If they can do £2m profit in H2 that shows you the scope. £5m profit in a year and they will 10 bag from here. Very illiquid - I'm never going to be able to buy a decent position after they say things are much better - got to be ahead of the crowd imo. CR | cockneyrebel
14/4/2011 17:09 | Sometimes you only need half a bowl! | devil20
14/4/2011 14:23 | How about FAN - 5yr chart | protean
14/4/2011 13:26 | cra maybe? (up 9%) rushed today (no time to put up the chart) | andrbea

14/4/2011 10:27 | Wouldn't have thought HVE was your sort of stock at this point in time, CR. As far as I can see, all it has going for it is a light volume technical rally but little evidence that the earnings or cash generation position has changed. The risk reward ratio still seems to me to angled towards the former. If it does continue to do well it will certainly be a feather in the cap of the 'bowlers'! | bluebelle
14/4/2011 09:56 | Yes polar fox - Fingers has noticed HVE too - 20p target he reckons - SG posted his data on the HVE threrad CR | cockneyrebel
14/4/2011 09:49 | HVE has broken higher this morning. CR's bowl forming very nicely. 20p is the first target. | polar fox
14/4/2011 09:25 | Ideally, want to see a bowl under formation rather than fully formed, otherwise it becomes a case of horses, stable, bolted. Keep an eye on QED, and what rymes with QED but RED :-) | owenski
14/4/2011 09:10 | Does anyone else have the impression that people are seeing bowls where there are none ? If VAL is indeed a bowl it's a cracked one - maybe explains why there's no cash in it !!! | bluebelle
14/4/2011 08:08 | hope you all bought that VAL bowl. it's flying, massive RNS just out. | still waiting
13/4/2011 22:55 | not that bowl-like but a promising chart all the same.. | jazza
13/4/2011 22:46 | Jak, It's all in your mind my friend Can't see a bowl..... however a nice Gold Cross formed not long ago | pillion
13/4/2011 22:35 | STM - definitely a bowl, and a stock with good fundamentals. Perhaps someone would be kind enough to post the chart here with the bowl formation. | jakleeds
13/4/2011 22:30 | CR They don't have a product - they have the rights to licence the use of a process the inventor of which no longer works for the company and, as a result, they lack the expertise to help any potential new licensees commercialise that process and have studiously avoided on boarding the necessary marketing skills to extend their franchise. The best hope is that they are bought by people associated with 2K. A price of 7p has been mooted - suits me !!! Now, back to bowls - great thread ! | bluebelle
13/4/2011 22:13 | paulieb - yep, don't want to sound rude as you posted the chart in good faith I'm sure and it may be a bowl. I'd just warn anyone to do thorough reseach before buying. If they had a decent product I'm sure it would be turning over more than £500K or so after 10 years and wouldn't need share placings. CR | cockneyrebel
13/4/2011 22:11 | yep, I know who the Chairman is, perhaps too well. CR | cockneyrebel
13/4/2011 19:38 | CR As avid followers of the TDM/ENRT thread will know, you sound mild by comparison with me ! I made money on it before - selling at £1.40 - and kept out until relatively recently when I bought at 1.75p on the basis of the fact I thought that the risk : reward ratio was in my favour. I buy management and, under normal circumstances, would never buy shares in a company chaired by someone described by a High Court judge - when dismissing the company's action against a former employee - as 'mendacious'. Anyone who buys has been warned !!! | bluebelle
13/4/2011 19:35 | Fair enough CR I don't hold,just looking at the chart. | paulieb
13/4/2011 19:31 | ENRT? The ex 3DM ? The biggest sack of cak I've seen - been floated for 10 years, still only managed about half a million turnover and survives on share placings imo. Invest in that and you'll see your money dluted away for evermore imo - terrific ramp last week too - couldn't make it up - but someone obviously did ! Sorry to be so negative paulieb but I rank ENRT in the league of MUBL or worse. CR | cockneyrebel
13/4/2011 19:08 | ENRT might be one. | paulieb
13/4/2011 18:01 | yep, just took it out ta:-) CR | cockneyrebel |
