21/4/2011 15:26 | Not for me on fundamental grounds, but PYC ? | bluebelle
21/4/2011 14:42 | FCCN bowl starting the next leg up on the chart. CR | cockneyrebel
21/4/2011 12:10 | HVE chart going good in style :-) RED the next one? On a lovely dip here and on a nice trendline - with the year end a month ago a trading update may be soon. Directors bought about £90k worth recently too. CR | cockneyrebel
20/4/2011 22:04 | mdz is a bowl over few years | hazl
19/4/2011 15:24 | CR, I've left you something to look at on the HVE BB. | polar fox
18/4/2011 13:22 | Ref post 164. RGM going nicely today. | clive205
18/4/2011 08:35 | TPJ - the CEO is back in the country after visiting projects and partners (PNG/Vietnam/Austral I expect lots of news against favourable backdrop of gold price at all time highs and rising in uncharted territory Finally one would expect Management will be 'liberal' with newsflow in coming weeks as Newmont the $30bn gold miner which has 29% and wants to buy TPJ will be allowed to bid again from June (Newmont has $5bn cash and produces about that in cashflow every year and should be earning supernormal profits right now with the gold price where it is, it needs to spend that money on something and TPJ whilst a 'drop in the ocean' (only £20m market cap) would give them access to several potential world class projects) Just some potential fundamental underpinnings to why the bowl pattern on TPJ should 'complete' IMO | bonanza grades
18/4/2011 08:25 | TPJ looking primed today, CR | cockneyrebel
16/4/2011 10:33 | i've posted my research on the thread | mattjos
16/4/2011 10:30 | That's what I'm looking for Mattjos ! :-) If it hadn't been a bio I'd buy that but I'll try to read up on it - if anything is going to play a bowl out back to the top on a bowl like that it will be a bio! :-) CR | cockneyrebel
16/4/2011 10:08 | ok, here's an early one .... but i doubt any will take it. You need to look past the fundamentals and into what is going on in the usa with recent holdings statements + what is to come this year: | mattjos
16/4/2011 09:55 | Looks like a long shallow one in QED purple boots. Some of the charts above are reversals and may form bowls but the very best are those that scream 'bowl' For example: This is as prefect as it gets imo: And one like this is screaming to carry on the trend - and you can rely on it to do so better than when you get one with all the volatility in it or where the bowl isn't a clear bowl. A lot of the above are also bowls that have played out a lot of the way - the big question is can you find one that is 'Forming'? Can you sot a beautiful curve downwards that's flattening out and perhaps just starting to turn? That's what I want, one where I can benefit from the full upturn rather than look back and say that would have been a nice buy 6 months ago - like find me that next PFD where it was in January this year? They must be out there - TPJ looks the best I've seen posted here so far - the bowl there says 50% in a month or two and even more further out. So early bowls if you can, forming rather than formed. Cheers CR | cockneyrebel
16/4/2011 09:46 | On the five year chart SRT shows a great formation, although the bowl is formed it would appear that the next stage is developing. Movement is also supported by growth fundamentals. | owenski
16/4/2011 09:37 | you can't chart AKO any more as it has morphed into YGH .. here's one i kept hold of and the purple line shows how it has advanced since the name change. V illiquid though so, probably not for too many | mattjos
16/4/2011 09:32 | & SYM is also coming along nicely and i'd suggest not too far off a significant move up | mattjos
16/4/2011 09:26 | I'd suggest BIP is shaping up nicely too: | mattjos
16/4/2011 09:23 | on some, the CC truncated the bowl mid-pattern and this gives the less common "twin buttock" pattern .... often even more explosive upside. The right hand side of the pattern usually advances to mirror the left hand side decline. No better one to depict this than WTI .. a beauty & you wouldn't bet agaionst 40p+ would you? | mattjos
16/4/2011 09:20 | one of the nicest bowls around & still cheap as chips under 60. | mattjos
16/4/2011 07:06 | May I join the fun with QED? | purple boots
15/4/2011 23:04 | CR, great thread. Really uncanny as I posted on the RGM board earlier this week that I thought a bowl shape was developing. It's only recently started to pick up - massive upside from here IMHO. | clive205
15/4/2011 22:34 | A basin to cut hair with | djalan
15/4/2011 13:03 | you seem to be spot on with this bowl theory acm up a bit again today! | hazl
15/4/2011 11:12 | PFD shoud start to 'bowl up' here for another leg imo. CR | cockneyrebel
15/4/2011 07:27 | Nice one - looked at the results quickly and can't see why they would have rallied that much on rthe news but the chart screamed buy. Would have been nice to catch it lower down. Ta CR | cockneyrebel
15/4/2011 00:33 | Nice long term bowl here; bit late in the day I know, but strong fundamentals suggest it has further to go imv. | epsilon mojo |
