No luck in this business - just watch the Mendell and Price interview. As I previously indicated, that made my cynical. Then the red flags appeared and I changed stance and took profits.

The idea is to buy low, not at the highs as you were encouraging others.

Well why not take £20k/ month income from Opera ? That's £240k and greater than your £200k cash.

Maybe they see a better strategy than you and LL envisage. Do you know if OPERA will add further assets? that HNR would also benefit from in due course/patience? No of course you don't.

If you begin to tire, then just remind yourselves of the losses that Herschel is sustaining as a result of assuming all test deadlines were certain to be met. Picture tears rolling down his cheeks!!

Keep dancing chaps - I am merely nodding my head since exerting myself a bit too much is overly strenuous, but the joy is equally agreeable.

Any idea why Opera Investments didn't just directly buy the same assets that HNR are now "selling" to them for £4m? They were available for < $200K in cash, weren't they? Anything to do with the fact that they are using paper at a daft notional value, do you think?

This is corporate engineering, and I think you know it. We've both seen it all before, and the end results are the same every time.

Eh! Where is the value creation? They paid $96K for the assets a few weeks ago and now have sold them for what they claim is a multi-million dollar sum in stock Surely it is much more likely that the paper that was received wasn't worth very much?

No.

How about reading the RNS re: the agreement with Schlum to test 5 wells with DT Ultravert tech within 12 months - that agreement was Sept 2015, we are 8 months into that period with testing in June. I'd say that's a target met.

Secondly, ever thought that it might have been scheduled for March but they were too busy talking to over 20 O&G companies with Schlum, which they announced in April - news that wasn't expected, but understandable that tests in March might not have been considered the best thing to do if they were still in talks?

Of course you wouldn't see that this is part of every day business - you know, making deals, negotiating, setting aside certain tasks for the benefit of the bigger picture and long-term development of the company.

They haven't missed a testing deadline.

I spoke to the chap from Halliburton to run the tech past him, nothing else.

I'm not saying you are merely influencing shares - but what do you want people to take from reading twitter ?

What do you want them to do if you don't think it will influence whether they buy or sell when you have stated you were 'short' here, as did LL ?

Trial results will be known very quickly you indicated Herschel. Who told you this? The Halliburton chap?

Funnily enough HNR have this morning remained silent on when any test resaults will be known.

correct.

the full field trial is referring to the many fields and formations and well types they will be testing the tech within.

that will take several months across the US.

but the results of the first 6 test wells will be known very quickly indeed.

it's very straightforward really - some just want to make out what they've said is a problem - it isn't.

75p
87.5p
100p
112.5p
125p

etc, etc.

this is based on previous advice I took on board from the Fingers chart thread.

This plum is unable to think for himself - he reverts to a fictitious Halliburton engineer and some blogger on a charting thread. He saw this heading to 125p in the near term and was therefore loading up in the 70's. Now at 45p he is trying to drum up as much interest as possible. But the interest has evaporated...
