10/6/2016 17:19 | So a guy who worked for Schlumberger and works in the field HNR are testing has left them and joined HNR, he would have to be mad if he did not think this would be a success, tells me all I need to know where this is going, if there were problems he would never have left . | ![]() wardy333
10/6/2016 17:16 | Anyway voting in or out the EU? I've voted out. | tidy 2
10/6/2016 17:14 | @tidy seawater in Colorado? | ![]() loglorry1
10/6/2016 17:09 | Have they stated sea or fresh water? I'd imagine it's fresh water which would obviously be an issue in large quantities in remote areas. Talking of patents AXM have 40 for advanced leach mineral processing. That's the next HNR DYOR. | tidy 2
10/6/2016 17:07 | @Keya I keep saying that it is very dangerous to believe anything nit in an RNS and even then they need to be carefully analyzed. The jabas post seems to suggest he was told something by hnr directors that didn't fit with the RNS. That doesn't surprise me in the least. | ![]() loglorry1
10/6/2016 16:53 | That's great thanks for your input. | ![]() keya5000
10/6/2016 16:49 | #6618 yes Keya I would have ripped him to shreds, however, there is a difference, LL did not hear what argyle heard from RP and PM, and that is at odds with the RNS today. If it Schlumbergers cause for the delay, 1, it should have been made clear it was schlumbergers, the fact it hasn't, is pure guesswork by you, and 2. if it is indeed schlums fault it is even worse and shows maybe they aren't that interested in the tech as they hadn't planned the water requirements. Anyway will leave this thread...and a final thing..after todays rns I don't think I would buy or add at 20p. | ![]() thejaba

10/6/2016 16:34 | Dorset: I will state again (but will post no more as I am no longer a shareholder here): this is unusual practice, it is high risk, and patent agents would advise against it. To place those patent applications into the public arena as in the RNS before being granted is odd - and in my opinion, high risk. It is certainly not to be recommended, and there is no need. In my own case, my patents are in the company's name as an employee of that company. In return, I have received generous share options in the company. This is standard policy in many larger companies. | rhwillcoll
10/6/2016 16:32 | When you are prepared to discuss your position and its size with everyone then Il discuss the size and nature of my position with you.Heres a little soupcon Kempster-with large chunks from 14,19, and 28 I'm ready to pounce when the brexit fog clears. | pwcarnall
10/6/2016 16:31 | I'd like to know more detail on the water allocation logistics. Has there been a failure of the system they were using and they have to arrange another. I presume water rights can be a complicated and contensious topic and therefore delay testing as indicated. I wouldn't have thought it was an item they missed off the list! | ![]() kirkuk
10/6/2016 16:30 | If this never worked why would a young guy working for a very successful company jump ship to a failure LOL, he knows it works he would not change jobs. | ![]() wardy333
10/6/2016 16:30 | Yes Keya you are right. They are obviously in no hurry. The "indicative" terms suggest they have until Sept from memory but in reality they can take as long as they wish. What can HNR do? | ![]() loglorry1
10/6/2016 16:12 | @PWC "I still have as sizeable position." suggests you've been selling too then? | ![]() loglorry1
10/6/2016 16:09 | Is it not Schlumbergers job to procure the water and other associated lead items? They are the operator not highlands, the DTU is just a bolt on so it is a schlumberger reason for the delay not HNR direct. | ![]() keya5000
10/6/2016 16:06 | a lack of water huh! they ballsed this one up. v disappointed | ![]() dingo75
10/6/2016 15:49 | rhwillcoll, not strictly true. I have patents pending and I chose myself to have these freely available during the first search as I, like the patent office tries to do, wishes to see if there is any objections to them plus, for me, I wanted them in the public domain asap. Patent offices in different countries around the world work differently, and the only other bit of advice I'd give you, if you really did come up with a number of inventions yourself, but let your company apply for the patents themselves, what on earth were you thinking of. There are ways of submitting patents in 'forum' mode as such, in that you invented the idea whilst being paid & working for a company whereas, as may be in your case, if you were physically employed to come up with the invention through your company paying & claiming R&D rebates on the back of them, then you yourself would have no claim to them whatsoever. | ![]() dorset64
10/6/2016 15:44 | We are being helped by the wider markets being red today. However, a drop is to be expected when a delay is announced. Will we recover? I suspect we will given time and I hope people are not put off by others who may pushing their own agenda. Every investor should make their own mind up to buy or sell. | ![]() rafboy
10/6/2016 15:43 | @KK this is all part of the holiday fun. Given the cr@p you guys dish out you can't really blame me for a post or two on a bearish day like today. | ![]() loglorry1
10/6/2016 15:36 | Seems watching HNR is a full time job for some in this forum. Share price can go up or down. So just let us allow the stock to find its market price rather than poisoning the atmosphere | ![]() heo
10/6/2016 15:36 | chiva - whats your problem fella? We had an update on DT today, I wasn't blown away by it, (see Jabas post above for some healthy points to consider) so I sold. Simple. Its on the watch list, Anyhow, enough of this playground stuff. I'm off. Regards GL all. | ![]() argyle underclap
10/6/2016 15:35 | I am a little surprised that the company's patent applications were recorded in today's RNS. I am a scientist (PhD)and have been involved with my company's patent side for a number of years: several of them were my own inventions, but in the company's name. It is unusual and rather "high risk" to declare your cards in a public way like this, before the patents have been granted. The reason being that you have 18 months' secrecy before they are placed in the public domain, which gives you a lot of options before being seen by potential competitors. It is something that our patent agents would definitely advise us not to do. My declaration: I was invested here from 26p until 40p. I no longer have shares in this company, and do not intend to do so. I just wish to point out an unusual practice, which would almost certainly be advised against by expert opinion. Anyway, I hope that this company does really well for all investors here. It may be the beez kneez for all I know, but I just wanted to point out how unusual it is to declare your IP applications so early on in this way. | rhwillcoll |
