10/6/2016 13:13 | Argyle I can assure you I have nothing against anyone protecting profit but you well know with the inferences and opinion you have offered previously on the soundness of the board etc that such a slur could be very damaging. Not that I think activity here is driving things but I still feel it was very bad form. | keya5000
10/6/2016 13:05 | Argyle, Didn't you tell us, IIRC, that you'd met the CEO and he came across as honest? Now you tell us that you think he has put out an RNS which is blatently untrue. ????? | sandbag
10/6/2016 12:49 | Argyle underclap. And for whose benefit did you post your sell and reasons? For your own benefit I suggest. You've gone down in my estimation buddy. | garbut
10/6/2016 12:37 | dorset - hi there, good thanks, hope you are well too. Herschel sums it up nicely re gut feeling being v important. Especially when ones been sat at the table a long time with excellent profits (from 14p) I could be wrong. Time will tell, additionally HNR has other strings to its bow. So i'll be watching closely, whilst smoking a well earned cigar. keya - you've gone down in my estimatation buddy. regards all. GL | argyle underclap
10/6/2016 12:37 | C'mon chaps - chin up. It's not down that much :-) Just because a load of well respected posters on these boards have said they've sold stock doesn't necessarily mean it is a lemon. Those guys who paid in the 70s may well be spot on. Doubt it though. You might be amazed to know that I actually think they do have some sort of relationship with Sclumberger. I don't think it is anything like as valuable as the current market cap implies though and just like the other rag bag of assets it is very very early stage. Before anyone thinks I've gone long I've not but I do feel a bit sorry for the bulls today. They didn't care about me when the price shot up 15% but I guess I'm just too soft. Log | loglorry1
10/6/2016 12:23 | oh dear oh dear oh dear - looks like they need to call a plumber | kreature
10/6/2016 11:58 | Regarding Argyle, why would you come onto a board where you have credibility having met the management and spout off a baseless theory to justify your selling decision. Quite a cynical move if you ask me. People naturally feel more comfortable in their decisions if things subsequently point in the direction they want, I don't really have much time for people who try to manipulate others to make that happen though, thereby making them 'feel better' - unless of course there's solid evidence to back it up. As Keya said leave with dignity don't be an ass. | chiva20
10/6/2016 11:57 | As much as the delays are not good, it has to be expected. Anybody who believed that there would be a positive result from the tech in June was deluded, and I did say as much. Doesn't mean it's game over, far from it. Just means an opportunity to buy some on the cheap for those that missed the boat or top up for the long termers.Double top on the chart so share price will be taking a breather for now (unless more news on another front comes in). Time to take stock and consolidate. Just to clarify I'm NOT saying this will drop to the teens, I have no idea where this will end up. Just voicing my opinion. | l0wrdr
10/6/2016 11:56 | H, thats fine and like I said, I have no issue with Argyle selling as its everyones own choice. The point I was asking is that for anyone to form an opinion it has to be based upon something, even hunches first of all have some grounding. If A's hunch is that initial testing has been completed then the company would have to announce it so that can't be it, so am just wondering what in todays RNS gave him a feeling that initial testing is not up to par as I can't see anything in this one, or any of the last 10 RNS' that does. | dorset64
10/6/2016 11:51 | There isn't any confirmation Dorset - he's sold on a hunch or gut-feel that they've done some initial testing that hasn't been very successful. I don't have a problem with that. I play a fair bit of poker - gut-feel is very important, so if Argyle thinks his winning hand might now be losing........he sells. Fine with me. H | herschel k
10/6/2016 11:44 | I think Argyle is fine, he's not slated anything or anyone, all he's done is to say he sold & his reasons why. All I'm trying to do is to understand his reason for selling as, for one, I cannot see anywhere where they have even remotely intimated that first tests have been done. For me nothing has changed compared to yesterday, last week or last month apart from a water issue that is going to delay the testing by a couple or so months. Add in to that we have official confirmation that the testing is at no cost to HNR and we also have now which company's wells Schlum are to test the tech on and in which formation it is to be tested. I will, it this keeps dropping be adding yet again as for me nothing has changed except for the date. | dorset64
10/6/2016 11:42 | Could those who are leaving the building please do so with some dignity. | keya5000
10/6/2016 11:39 | Hi Argyle, trust you're well fella. Question for you, where in the RNS does it remotely state that any 'initial trials have been done' since they last released any news. I honestly don't understand your theory here and am trying to understand how you came to such a conclusion. | dorset64
10/6/2016 11:32 | fission - worry ye not about these bb's. Worry instead about maximising your own informed opinion. Peeps and posts here do not dictate a companies ultimate success or failure. Your 'research' will dictate yours tho. | argyle underclap
10/6/2016 11:15 | yasX 10 Jun'16 - 12:07 - 2560 of 2560 0 0 Argyle claptrap has now abandoned the cause, which he now remarkably describes as fruitless, in stark contrast to his ebullient mutterings only days ago. -------------------- the irony is beautiful.........al :) | herschel k

10/6/2016 10:47 | I've been a long term holder. I have met and spoken to management. I've considered every single angle of this stock in obsessive detail on a daily basis. My 100% gut feeling regarding todays news..initial trials have been done but, unfortunately, have - so far - proved fruitless. I sold out completely this morning. Good luck all long holders. I'll be watching closely. Regards | argyle underclap
