09/10/2020 06:44 | All - sorry for the off topic but was making a suggestion | borisjohnsonshair
09/10/2020 06:44 | I'd welcome your opinion on SRB. It seems too good to be true to me. Am I wearing rose tinted glasses? | borisjohnsonshair
09/10/2020 06:43 | Q3 results out next week. Probably add US$6-7M of cash to bank | borisjohnsonshair
09/10/2020 06:42 | Look at SRB. Got steady 40,000 output of gold from existing mine, new license to double plus huge exploration potential. Cash rich and no debt. Only MCAP of £60M yet existing mine produces US$20M FCF annually. When the new license is in production it will be US$60M!!! The exploration potential is in another league. Could add US$1B to MCAP. It's 100p but could be 500p to 1000p within 1.5-3 years. Lovely business. | borisjohnsonshair
08/10/2020 17:40 | I have too much time on my hands. Apart what you see in the presentation, producing over ten million ounces of silver a year, more than many silver miners. Agua Rica is always manana, manana, not factored in to the share price so if it ever happens then it will be a nice boost. Suyai might be a decent surprise in Argentina, if the oligarchs who bought forty percent get the permits. Overextended themselves in the last bull, so much more conservative now, focussed on internal growth, one of the few majors who still explore, more to come from Jacobina which is a beast, and Malartic is also a real mainstay for many years. Think they have good internal growth prospects, just generating huge amounts of cash which they will be dispensing for a good few years yet, I hope | robertstronghand
08/10/2020 11:05 | rsh Tell me more please. I can't get anything from Stockopedia as I don't have the Canadian module. When it lists in London will be able to. I sold my HGM so looking for a new home. | nickwild
08/10/2020 09:52 | Got out of these as soon as the bid was made, I wouldn't hang around. Long time Yamana shareholder, so hit me up with any questions if you are looking for a new home for your money, starts trading on the LSE on Tuesday 13th. | robertstronghand
02/10/2020 09:27 | Farewell hgm, it would have been a nice gesture if they had paid shareholders the dividend. | coxsmn
02/10/2020 07:59 | Ooops.. Still many of us have been in CEY as well for ages so this mornings disaster RNS was a bitter pill to swallow... | geckotheglorious
02/10/2020 07:27 | Like a moron I took 299.1 for my last chunk and moved into CEY....yesterday bye bye HGM it's been fun | zangdook
02/10/2020 07:17 | Taken the money at 299.2p. At least we have got it. I have a nagging concern about whether the purchaser is going to stump up the cash at 300p and when. It might not be until much later. | kibes
29/9/2020 15:15 | srpactive, if you acted on your own post #17276, re. GVC you will have done ok. Looks like 25% gain after yesterday's bid. | wbodger
28/9/2020 11:02 | just sold 35k shares so hope you are right | nickwild
28/9/2020 10:33 | Thanks for advice everyone. Will sell at £2.99 if possible. | popeye888
28/9/2020 09:38 | Like many others I sold out when I saw 5 of the major institutional share holders sell out and have already used some of these proceeds to buy other stocks with. If I was in your shoes I would not Hold on as the chances are you'll be left with shares in a delisted company and very little way of doing anything with them and doubt will pay any further dividends so in reality will become lost money. | loganair
28/9/2020 09:35 | Take the money and run. You will have zero say and it will be almost impossible to sell your shares in an unlisted company. | gaffer73
28/9/2020 09:03 | Can't claim to be knowledgeable, but your choice is -sell for £2.99 now -accept £3 in a month or so -hold on If you hold on, then either -you'll be forcibly purchased in due course if they get enough to do that, or -you'll have a stake in an unlisted company (assuming they get enough to delist, and do so). How that works out is unpredictable. I'm doing a mixture of the first two | zangdook
28/9/2020 08:40 | Popeye. Pointless holding on to your stock to be a minority shareholder in an unlisted enterprise. Accept the offer - move on. | geckotheglorious
28/9/2020 07:39 | Any knowledgeable people got any advice on the best way forward, sell or hold. What is likely to happen if you hold onto your shares? | popeye888
26/9/2020 13:48 | I have agreed to sell all mine (145.5k), its been a good divi earner ands well as growth, dipped my toe in at 83p. | shayadfn
25/9/2020 11:15 | Just received an offer via my broker for £3 per share. On 31st July 2020, Fortiana announced that they had reached agreement on the terms of a recommended mandatory Cash Offer (Offer) for Fortiana to acquire the entire issued, and to be issued, share capital of Highland. The Offer values the entire share capital of Highland at approximately GBP1,091,690,970 whilst the Offer Price represents a premium of approximately 4 percent to the Closing Price of GBP2.89 per Highland share on 30th July 2020, this being the last business day prior to the announcement of the Offer. Assuming the Offer becomes or is declared unconditional in all respects and subject to any applicable requirements of the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) Rules, Fortiana intends to procure the making of an application by Highland to the London Stock Exchange (LSE) for the cancellation of trading of Highland shares on the Official List and for the cancellation of listing of the Highland shares on AIM. The Cancellation is expected to take effect no earlier than twenty business days after the Offer becomes or is declared unconditional. If Fortiana receives acceptances under the Offer in respect of, and/or otherwise acquires 90 percent or more of the Highland shares and assuming that all of the other conditions of the Offer have been satisfied or waived, Fortiana intends to exercise its rights pursuant to the provisions of sections 974-991 of the Companies Act 2006 to acquire compulsorily the remaining Highland shares on the same terms as the Offer. If you wish to accept the Offer, please do so as soon as possible as the Offer may not be extended. Please be aware that should you choose to accept the Offer, your entitlement will not be released until the Offer has been declared unconditional in all respects, as stipulated in the Takeover Code. Once the Offer has been declared unconditional in all respects, payment is expected to be no sooner than 10 working days following the date of such announcement or our advice date, whichever is the later. You can monitor the progress of the Offers acceptances through any regulatory news provider. However, we will notify you once your entitlement has been credited to your account. Please note that acceptance to this Offer will only be applied to the number of shares you hold at the time we process your instruction. Before making any decision please take into consideration all relevant factors of the event including the current share price and any possible tax implications. If you require any further information in making your decision please contact an appropriate professional advisor. Should you choose not to accept the Offer at this time, we will contact you again if the Offer is extended, the terms of the Offer change, the stock is compulsorily acquired or if we are notified that the Offer is closing. Should you wish to find more information about the Offer, please visit the Highland website, hxxps://highlandgold What Happens If I Don't Elect ? If you do not wish to accept the Offer at this stage then you should take no action. When Is The Last Time I Can Elect ? Please ensure you submit your option before 14 October 2020 23:59 to enable us to process your instruction in accordance with the Company's current published timetable for this event. This timetable may change as explained above. | popeye888
22/9/2020 16:15 | I have a holding in a company gone private, heard nothing but still in, just incase they re-list. I might hold a few just in they event Barrick comes in for the other 60%. dyor | srpactive
22/9/2020 16:04 | Tempted, but only for a nominal 100 shares just to see when they delist. Just curious. They can't take a dividend on the whole company without paying minorities. They could always dilute me, so it's just nominal, I'm not knowledgeable about what protections there are (if any, so dyor). | wbodger |
