The making of the offer is conditional on the clearance of the deal by the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Services (FAS).

More than 50% of shares should accept the offer for it to become unconditional.

Independent Directors of Highland after considering terms of the offer to be fair and reasonable and intend to recommend unanimously to accept the offer.


Conclusion: Highland Gold major shareholders agree to sell 40.06% interest in the Company to Fortiana at 300p. Fortiana is intending to make a 300p/share cash offer to other shareholders of the Company within 28 days of securing the FAS clearance and eyeing to close the acquisition in Q4/20. The Board intend to unanimously support the potential offer.

will just be a bitter holder who is upset that not getting more than £3 for his holding and sees any argument suggesting that is negative . As a chartist and I take a bearish view of a stock which seems realistic, a long term holder would regard that as negative and especially if sitting on a paper loss ! ( wry smile ) . so do not be offended by such idiots .

well summed up gary . Volume today 14 million so far presumably mainly into hands of the bidders and soon will have over 50% and control although 40% is really effective control.

Very likely Abramovich has some continuing interest through the buyer, and when the company is delisted and no longer subject to any sort of UK regulation, that may become apparent.

Because with 40% votes in the bag already What is the incentive for them to increase their bid? Unless there is a shareholder revolt?Is that likely?So people are taking cash now rather than wait for few months to get the same amountSo only reason to hold is if you think they will increase the offer and its going to be substantial enough to stay with it as opposed to investing elsewhere. Abramovich and others already taken £3

One odd thing about the RNS - a lot of it consists of the buyer telling us what a great company it is. Why do we need to hear that? Surely we should have our people telling us all about what a great price they've got for us.

Very disappointing. 300p horribly undervalues HGM. I haven’t actually been researching other gold miners recently as I was happy long term with HGM, POLY, GDXJ, and GPM. Might as well add it to POLY given its liquidity in the short term, whilst awaiting a new standout miner.

Super city as I understand it, CL sold his holding on 28/07 then, the next day, 29/07, replaced them by exercising the equivalent amount of options. As the RNS is dated 28/07 it is true that on that day, having sold his holding, he had no shares but on 29/07 his holding would be 1,250,000. Small holding for a director I agree, I have more than him, but I don’t have the 10m+ options!

It was a little surprising it ran to 310 early but not showing much sign of doing that again. I just traded it in recent months with a CFD but last day trade yesterday resulted in a loss ! ( smile ) . Good luck to you and hope you find another winner soon. GGP mentioned above has a nice chart BUT I hate AIM stocks as so slow and illiquid and no good for traders for sure. MMS do well out of them but AIM market should be made obsolete ,

GG GGP in JV with Newcrest in W Australia. Awaiting MRE but each update the grades get better and the area increases. Also has other 100% owned tenements in the same area yet to be explored. Please DYOR NAI.

GGP - one of the directors exercised 31k of options and then sold the lot (now has no holdings but a bag full of options), not exactly a positive action for current share holders.AAZ is one the most under valued gold stocks out there and dividend paying - finally looking to make a move after months of going nowhere and could easily hit all time highs in the next few weeks.
