Announcement on a Friday allows for counter bids to be put together over the weekend and then announced on Monday. Could see a real rise in the share price just before the close. Thinking of topping up this morning ahead of the USA opening bell and USA interest etc.

Abramovich and the others must have a relationship with the buyer or they would never have agreed. The question is, who owns the other 60%, and will they bend over or not. Initial market reaction suggests it's not entirely in the bag.
