300p/share looks far too cheap to me with gold going through the roof. Clearly those who sold their 40% believe they are getting a good deal which is rather surprising. I don't think there is anything small punters can do about it, it feels like a stitch up to me. Any possibility of a higher offer from elsewhere I wonder?

I was in them the other year from 7p upto early twenties,

Paf is a good prospect. They've risen a lot like the rest, but at 27p and the news they ya e coming there's room for increase medium term

What I cannot understand, we know hgm are very cheap
compared even to other Russian miners, like polyus and
polymetal. Why are they not bidding as instead of buying
hgm they are letting someone else in. If they got larger,
less chance of themselves being approached. Especially
as the gold price has risen over $100 poz since the approach.

I have moved a little on for other investments but not many.

Nerdbirder. Google the seeking alpha article from yesterday ‘Use Polymetal International To Gain Short Term Exposure To Gold‘. Have a look at the conservative share price predictions! Much larger and more liquid company than HGM. Much less likely to be sold on the cheap seeing as it’s in the ftse 100 also.

How do I report the directors to the FSA? Surely somebody needs to investigate this farce. I am furious having held for so long that the corrupt directors decide to sell just as a huge gold bull run is beginning.
