SRP

Have HGM, CEY, Poly, GOLD(Barrick) and the laggard MML.
Tad overweight gold to be honest.

The $600 weekly enhanced unemployment benefit in the U.S. is not going to be renewed, instead will get 70% of normal pay.

This means that the average American is going to get 40% less in unemployment benefit and those who work in the black economy will now be getting no unemployment benefit at all.

China has just reported the most number of new Covid cases in a 24 hour period since the end of March.

France is also reporting the most number on new Covid cases in 2 1/2 months

I've noticed how many people seem to wear their masks just over their mouths when most people breathe through their noses.

No going to hold here for a very long time, as the profits
from gold and the production increase should increase the
share price rapidly over the next few years.
The dividends should be good too.

C47 is correct what he states.

Yes, 350p + would indeed be a windfall.
Would you be trimming/selling out at such levels?

Would be tempted myself, to recycle into physical

Yes then no resistance.

G

Yes I am also, hopefully well over 350p as the results should be very good come September.

With the breakout completed from the handle of the cup, the chart targets £3.75 which is also where this should at least be based on fundamentals

Gold just broken out too, shr price could move fast today

Part of the Hero's act in the U.S. is a 12 months moratorium on evictions, going to lead to long term negative impact on landlords and city budgets.

I've heard several times that at least 25% of people who are not paying their rents are just waiting until the time they are evicted, never paying this rent and to just pack up and leave, having lived for free for many months intheir expensive in city apartments to live out of town.

In New York, the average rent is $3,500 per month, $42,000 in a year to be able to put down as a 20% deposit on buying an out of town house or 3 years rent on an out of town place.

This moratorium will leave the landlords not being able to pay their city property taxes which will lead to both the landlords and cities going bankrupt or at least in the case of cites having to dramatically cut their budgets by 1/3rd to 50%.

The biggest office landlord in New York, where people have to individually swipe a card to get into their office therefore they have pretty accurate figures say even now the daily average is only 6% to 7% of people are going to their offices.

They are also saying since Covid 62% of commercial/office renewal or new leases/rents in the tri-state area are short term 1 & 2 years instead of the usual longer term 10/20 years.

Equity Armor Investment - Even though gold is over bought, due to more debt being taken on and another trillion plus USD aid package coming a long Gold is going to $2,200 to $2,300 in pretty quick time.

Added another 5k and topped up an etf

Looking forward to monday, will close above 270 which bodes well and fingers crossed gold will close above 1880

4hrs to go for an all time record close above 1880 - I am going to wait until nearer 4:30 if by then with 2hrs to go before the end of the gold session I think gold will close above 1880 then I should top up

Also a close above 265 here is bullish, that looks nailed on at the moment

Just my thoughts fwiw

Still quiet round here isn't it :-)

Ah, I see your point now, HGM are not and will not be reliant on a high gold price to make a profit, they still make a significant amount at $1200

Others are not so fortunate to be bottom quartile in cost of production

Gold just gone through 1900, the weekly all time high close is behind that somewhere around 1880 I think - so a close above that should start the frenzy

HGM has plenty of upside even at $1400/oz. With 500k oz pa around the corner this will go beyond 350p

Gold itself, I don't think so

I'm bullish on miners. Gold does what it does, there is no compelling reason why it can't be back down to $1200/oz this time next year. I'm fine with that, it's not why I invest in gold miners. Miners are substantially undervalued, imo.

At some point, surely there is more downside risk than upside.

Gold is getting a bit toppy, imo.

Or perhaps a sharp rally into the close, many might fear on missing out if gold breaks 1900 after london markets close and then this gaps up big time on Monday. It is already re-rating quickly and gold has not breached 1900 yet.

We shall see

Think it likely to see a small pullback before close. But agree 300 likely next week.
