Guys, it's the usual story- this pretty much occurs up to FED decision this week when they will raise rates, which is factored in- what is not is the "mood" in the text eg dovish is the term we are looking for. In my view gold has held up well, as there has been talk of "fed hitting neutral soon", so more hikes less likely than before- so fingers crossed. Could be much worse if you were a heavy CEY holder, I've only a few which alas I paid 130.5 for, but will hold for long term as these will come back. Look at all golds, they follow same route before FED week. the dollar will weaken a fair bit medium to long term which is good.

srp,Yes purchased more CEY this morning.Woodhawk has purchased some also,and regarding PHNX its a no brainer.Buy 1,200 shares at 785p,and you will get 560 Rights shares at 518p.So your average price on 1,760 shares will be around £7.With a yearly dividend of £825,it makes it a yield of 6.7% on £7 DYOR

Third down day, and this at the moment is the fourth

Gold starting to rise but fairly flat this few weeks, HGM following the ftse graph… no real surprises alas... anyone know when next set of results are due, looks like a while away? Dollar remains strong- bad data for gold end of last week, next week is fed rate decision, hopefully rise already factored in.
