26/4/2018 11:07 | GC Quite right, fingers crossed the US support later, dyor. L Keep digging great posts as always, just need a mine linked to car batteries and we are away. Always grateful. active | srpactive
26/4/2018 11:05 | Not bad only down half the dividend. | garycook
26/4/2018 11:01 | Just having my first look at the license areas, looks like as well as Silver one of the possible mines also has commercial amounts of CU (Copper), Zn (Zinc) and Se (Selenium) which is used in photocells. "This acquisition adds a fourth operating mine, Valunisty, to our portfolio as well as positive upside potential in the surrounding KAS licence area, all in a familiar region with existing mining infrastructure. The transaction is structured in such a way as to be immediately value-accretive to the benefit of all our shareholders," commented Alexandrov. | loganair
26/4/2018 10:50 | It's very good news, especially as the next bear market is round the corner. | loganair
26/4/2018 10:47 | It’s good news, ambition in a shrinking market. | stevedaytrader
26/4/2018 10:45 | If the gold/silver ratio returned to the historic norm of 20 then with these new mines in terms of value HGM would be mining more Silver than Gold. | loganair
26/4/2018 10:39 | I don't see this as bad. The gold/silver ratio is 80, and can only go lower. | 11_percent
26/4/2018 10:26 | I see at least one the mines has more Silver than Gold while the other mines also have a significant amount of Silver. | loganair
26/4/2018 09:53 | Dunno if anyone already posted this - but may be of interest! | woodhawk
26/4/2018 09:44 | I do sell some stocks, not often, I sold paf the other year and bought steadily into others, rather than one size sold and the same size bought. Bit by bit, my life has been just chipping away at things. Boring I know but leopards etc etc. active | srpactive
26/4/2018 09:22 | Oh, right! I reinvest all my divis too. | woodhawk
26/4/2018 09:19 | W Dividend reinvestment, gvc due soon. active | srpactive
26/4/2018 09:11 | Really? As an apparent self-confessed non-trader, Active, you must have bottomless pockets!! It seems to be all 'adding' and no 'selling' with you! How do you do it? | woodhawk
26/4/2018 09:08 | W Well if they have increased, so have I. dyor active | srpactive
26/4/2018 08:47 | Indeed Active, I think we can deduce it's a good deal. | woodhawk
26/4/2018 08:43 | From the rns today, very interesting I thought, dyor. ==================== Following completion of the Acquisition, the Vendor, which is considered to be acting in concert with the Concert Party (details of which are set out below) will receive the Consideration Shares. When the Consideration Shares received by the Vendor are aggregated with the Concert Party's existing 37.41 per cent. shareholding, the Enlarged Concert Party will hold 44.05 per cent. of the Enlarged Issued Share Capital (assuming no other changes to the Company's issued share capital in the meantime). | srpactive
26/4/2018 08:42 | Looks like a fair transaction , long life mine, all share deal at a level that's accretive to earnings is a win win, rolling up smaller cheaper mines into an industry leader is a big value creating strategy. | catsick
26/4/2018 08:41 | Gold miners will always need to buy assets to survive, buying now secures the future. | gaffer73
26/4/2018 08:08 | I note the proposed purchase is regarded as immediately earnings accretive. "The Acquisition is expected to be accretive on several key financial and operational metrics on a pro forma basis including adjusted earnings and NAV per share, cash return to shareholders and gold production. It will also bolster the Company's position as a peer-leading dividend payer." | woodhawk
26/4/2018 07:59 | Well that is the short view. I am happy to see the company buy more assets producing and potential to produce in an area we operate in with other large Russian gold miners like Polymetal mentioned. I do feel the consolidation will continue. dyor active | srpactive
26/4/2018 07:49 | It's a 10% dilution for us (shareholders), but don't know the benefit. | 11_percent
26/4/2018 07:32 | RNS guys......what do you think. | 11_percent
25/4/2018 18:17 | Yes SR- can't find the date for this- I dumped a load of RRS to buy in at mid 144 today, as in my ISA a no brainer. Ace long term for my divis and capital growth, especially at this price. Expect the normal drop overnight, but sometimes it bounces on ex-divi after overnight capital divi drop. Keeping everything crossed- oh and what a game last night- chicken Kiev for me next week lol. | stevedaytrader
25/4/2018 14:34 | Do not forget the Q1 results due. | srpactive
25/4/2018 14:33 | W, We will see. | garycook |
