Extrader...happy to help, but this information is very easily found. Have you read the investor docs on the company website?

Hi Oakridge,

Thanks for this.

.."At the end of the day, the product needs to be grown and HELD appear to have a site of considerable scale and a license to match it.."

Could you share the site and license details, pls, since I've not found either.

TIA

This RNS warrants reading a couple of times (no pun intended) as there is some good information in there which might imply a certain amount over and beyond the headlines themselves.....and so give us some early (positive) signals as to how this company might just be run.

Rai is, to some extent, an unknown quantity and the jury will still be out for many - myself included. However, having experienced just about every type of CEO over the years, I am starting to see a number very promising and important signs emerge.

I'm a pretty honest poster and don't mind being critical of any company I'm invested in. For example, the business 'pivot' RNS could have been much better drafted and I think the Company failed to 'read the room' as to where the thinking in the market was. This looks as though it is something they will learn quickly from; since then, the announcements have been much more on the button.

* What I think we can begin to deduce is that the company has been, and continues to be, serious about implementing a low cost base. Rai inferred in a past proactive interview that the funds they held would be used carefully and wisely. We are just starting to see evidence of 'follow through' on that pledge: they appear to be well under budget on commissioning the site in Greece......and it seems that it will indeed transpire to be "more than enough" to take them through to first harvest. Again, very good follow through on the previous guidance and the first signs of 'operational competence' are emerging.

* Pursuing grants (BOTH Greek and EU) is encouraging and suggests further prudence around money and costs. That should be a given, shouldn't it? But believe me it is far from a given where CEO's are concerned. The waste I've seen at top BOD level over the years is eye watering. I get the feeling this company will aim to squeeze value from every pound or euro. From the wording, it also suggests the quantum of these grants could be extremely useful to the business. The company has a solid team of Cannabis specific advisors (I've checked) as well as some influential parties at Greek level on board (as previously RNS'd). This should all bode extremely well for success in securing grants and I am now keen to know the value of these.

* We can also see that the two original off take agreements are still very much good to go, meaning that despite the protracted listing process and, latterly, the works ongoing in Greece, it is proof enough that we are very much worth waiting for and 'have something' in terms of value, cost and quality. So a very good sign in general of good business practice that those agreements will be adhered to and fulfilled (for both parties).

* We were told that POD concept was a move which could potentially take us to bigger revenues and sooner....and that it demonstrated the agility of the Company to move with an evolving market place. The fact that we will, apparently, fulfil the original offtakes, as planned, and hit cash generation, on schedule, all the while signing up bigger growing contracts - Demecan - (where certain ongoing costs are to be eliminated) seems to be holding some weight.....although I accept it is still early days. If the company can land grants which help to enable that pivot into larger sales and sooner, then I think we might just discover we have a tenacious and proactive CEO.....one who is is energised enough to meet the market where it is and secure growth. That might well be proven out given the commitment already demonstrated through a very lengthy listing process.

As previously posted on here, my original thought was always Q2 financial year (which would imply July - September) for the first harvest.....which is perhaps why I have remained calmer than some. That matter has now been answered - emphatically - with this afternoon's RNS and my thinking proven correct.

On the face of it, there seems every reason to me why the shares should begin to move back to where they were, particularly as we are now very much nearing revenues and the company has since strengthened its position for the POD model via the Demecan agreement.

If that one POD agreement comes good and is skilfully implemented and others duly sign up to this outsourced white label model.....then we could be in for a very nice journey. At the end of the day, the product needs to be grown and HELD appear to have a site of considerable scale and a license to match it.

AIMO. ADYOR etc as ever.

And buried within the RNS:

"The Company is on track to produce its first harvest for commercial sale, under its existing off-take agreements, in line with its previous announcements, within Q2 of the Company's fiscal year."

(As highlighted by Oakridge)

Judi.....pretty certain I had, quote, 'got over it'. Pretty quickly actually.

It is actually you who keeps raising the issue of a perceived delay and squealing on about it.

You might well be correct - I don't know - but the point is, not all others share your certainty on the matter.

And the quote, 'deadlines' (language is important) are entirely a product of your own thinking. There are no deadlines for anything, only an intention to progress certain ops by certain points in the year.

There may have been slippage...or not. Perhaps we will find out in the upcoming interviews?

As you seem to be the most outraged and vexed by this point, I'm sure you were first in the queue to put your questions to the company (?). Did anyone else on here? I didn't submit any and, for better or for worse, am relaxed at hearing what the company has to say.

Regards.

It has absolutely nothing to do with fiscal or calendar year
Nothing whatsoever
These are the words from THE COMPANY
They are not my words nor are they yours
There is absolutely no ambiguity
There has been a delay
Now get over it and move on!

I even preempted your answer judi and you still felt the need to give it.

Regarding semantics I was referring specifically to your use of the word 'deadline'. No deadlines have ever been given. The word - which has a definite meaning - is a product of your own thinking and investment rationale....which you're now applying to the broader situation.

I am on the fence with regards to the language used by the company in respect of its targeted (TARGETED) first harvest dates. I do not believe this language has been consistent and this has led to some confusion...which is not ideal, granted. Middle of the calendar year or middle of the fiscal year etc as discussed on the thread. The fact that we have a range of opinions both on and off the bulletin board is evidence enough that clarity over this matter is required. I respect you have your own clarity however...but this might not be the same for others.

Anyway, we will see what the upcoming interview brings.

And finally judi, I hope you are pleased with yourself for not looking at our work of art in respect of the corn field on layers. It was a MASSIVE effort. Can be seen on google earth till around the weekend by which time we are told images are going to be updated. It is easily visible if you zoom in west of the town. The buildings are only several hundred yards from the tip of the point.

No semantics whatsoever and not ambiguous in the slightest. The companies words, not mine
Not even using the word “harvest”; in the June rns just “cultivation underway in late summer”

No semantics from me sunshine
The company quoted in an official rns harvest mid year
We are now past mid year

You can put whatever spin you want on it
First harvest has been pushed back
Hence the main reason for the share price collapse after the news about the delay
Imho

Let’s hope they are now cropping 🤞🤞

And I’ve never looked for the facility on Google

BTW are you STILL looking for the facility on google earth?

Ashley and I have since planted a huge field of wheat in the form of an arrow to help you. If you go to layers now, you will be able to see it before it's harvested on Friday, otherwise you will have to wait till next year.

At least someone is cropping in Greece!

With so much apparent concern around a company that you're not invested in judi, I'm sure you'll be keener than most to put your questions to the CEO, wont you?

"Don't need to guv' they've missed the deadlines I've created in my own 'ed and that's all I need to know"

:O)

Your use of the word 'deadline' is very telling and in itself shows how one might project their own mistaken thinking on any given situation without realising it.

No 'deadlines' have ever been given.

And pointing to that is far from being 'just' a case of just semantics, when that 'thinking' is guiding your own investment decisions (or not in your case)...not to say disseminating it online to others who are trying to make sense of things.

I'll be interested to see what the company has to say.

Did anyone on here submit questions?

I hope the management have learned the lesson of never ever miss any deadlines that they themselves have committed to
