26/9/2021 14:08 | Recommended in the Sunday Times apparently. Would greatly appreciate if someone could post the article. | sam 4224
24/9/2021 07:20 | Big site consent as some have already pointed out, 1000+ resi plots taking land bank to over 10,000 plots, must be an attractive addition for a house builder who wants a land bank but the industrial wouldn’t be of interest so probably needs a JV acquisition approach perhaps…or a blackstone as per st modwen | finkie
21/9/2021 14:34 | Hwg finally getting to its correct level helped by beds and sheds which thankfully is all it owns. 15/9/2021 12:46 | Harworth lists 5 competitors in their remuneration report: St Modwen, Henry Boot, Urban & Civic, U + I, Inland Homes 2 of them have been acquired during the last 12 months: St Modwen has been acquired by Blackstone Urban & Civic has been acquired by Wellcome Trust It's time for HWG mgmt to announce a strategic review of the company including a possible sale. Or even merging with Henry Boot given that Roditi has been building positions in both | george stobart
15/9/2021 12:37 | Staggered that this did not go up after such good results | sam 4224
15/9/2021 12:02 | Other way round - can we trust U.K. shareholders to fund the realisation of the intrinsic value of the assets That's why St Modwen went | williamcooper104
15/9/2021 11:00 | Does that mean that we don't trust the management to realise the intrinsic value of the assets? | 3cassyn

04/8/2021 07:34 | Land regeneration company Harworth Group and greentech, a renewable energy company specialising in solar photovoltaic (PV), have submitted plans to Telford & Wrekin Council for the development of a solar farm at the site of the former Huntington Lane open cast coal mine. The proposed solar farm will generate 28,500 MWh per year in renewable electricity, enough to power 8,650 homes. It will save 15,000kg of CO2 per year, making a significant contribution to the Climate Emergency and Telford & Wrekin Council’s target for the borough to be carbon neutral by 2030. The project would be delivered by a joint partnership between Harworth and greentech. | solarno lopez
28/7/2021 17:35 | BOOT family shareholding spreads far and wide through the register and looking to history they have never shown a strong desire to dilute their position | eigthwonder
28/7/2021 14:56 | Intriguing - i couldn't get a breakdown of BOOTs NAV A logistics development pipeline is probably the most valuable CRE asset at the moment and it's a large part of why BBOX/SGRO trade above NAV There's certainly a logic to combing BOOT with HWG and separating out the house building/land promotion and contracting businesses | williamcooper104 |
