09/4/2024 15:27 | What is the monthly cash burn? Having 30 odd "directors" can't be good for the overheads. | tiredhands
09/4/2024 14:58 | A pay rise from a company that burns cash to start with, that'll be interesting. | owenski
09/4/2024 14:24 | Alan Perry @alanp1771 @GMBNI & @UniteunionNI joint meeting today in Harland & Wolff to discuss next steps as to date the employer has yet to make a pay offer Further meeting next week with the potential for an Industrial Action Ballot @GMB_union_NWI @NIC_ICTU @BBCNewsNI | millennialinvestor
09/4/2024 12:04 | Cracking photo on X of a demoralised looking workforce discussing possible strike action after HARL failed to make a pay offer. It was originally posted on LSE but was removed, I wonder why? If you follow X - Alan Perry @alanp1771 - a union rep. | john mcinnes wood
09/4/2024 07:46 | Riverstone might be charging 19% but they are not getting paid. It's all just rolling up as PIK. | loglorry1
09/4/2024 00:15 | The banks will be taking charge of HARL when the finance deal is announced, existing shareholders will be leaping for the lifeboats when they are diluted into oblivion. I was checking on last year's REACH RNS's not a single update since, just a JW share pumping exercise - No great surprise there. Navantia are offering more updates on the FSS contract than HARL, I wonder why that might be? IM, the old shovel ready project, not worth tuppence now, the future is with renewable energy not the storage of fossil fuels, doubt very much bankers with an ounce of ESG would be getting involved in such projects. Not helped by the price of gas tumbling over the last year. The whole project is 10 years too late. Riverstone look like a better investment, charging HARL 19% on $100m, cracking deal that turned out to be. Barclays also having a charge on assets deepens the gloom over this once mighty company. | john mcinnes wood
08/4/2024 14:31 | STAR looks decent to be fair, but I don't like how much it is being ramped on Telegram. I hope it works out for you.I'm still comfortably holding HARL awaiting news on the finance deal and IM. Both appear imminent. | xenor
08/4/2024 11:31 | Sold for a measly £60 profit ages ago , went into STAR | ozzywalker
08/4/2024 09:59 | What's the "lol" about? BSFA is down 23% since you posted about selling HARL to buy it. | xenor
08/4/2024 09:29 | What is to do with cine over here ? lol | blackhorse23
20/3/2024 16:34 | SupeARich - Only way the price is going is down. 'IF' a new financial deal can be agreed it will not be advantageous to current shareholders. | john mcinnes wood
18/3/2024 17:06 | Because it is a high capital cost business with over capacity a large wage bill and not enough income to make any money and increasing losses. | owenski
15/3/2024 11:43 | How can H&W be so unprofitable? | millennialinvestor
14/3/2024 14:19 | I have put out the message on CINE. Hopefully we can locate WTIW. | seedoftongo
14/3/2024 09:12 | Cineworld still exists, it's just that it's owned by the banks/bondholders now. | jaknife
14/3/2024 09:09 | Seed has a point, this isn't the end of British shipyards. Much like CINE, will continue to operate, but run and controlled by the debt holders, meaning potential shareholder wipeout/dilution? JakNife might be able to confirm? | millennialinvestor
14/3/2024 09:05 | British shipyards … Military resurgence possibilities of spending ?? Not my bag this one . Just a wild thought . | seedoftongo
13/3/2024 20:38 | I'm from East BelfastBut the Titanic was probably the last profitable contract H&W have had | williamcooper104
13/3/2024 20:20 | Does WTIW deserve to lose everything he has ? Made homeless ,loss of family ,painful terminal illness that takes years to play out ? Let’s find out … Anyone who can get WTIW to post on here will be rewarded with a whole plus coin . | seedoftongo
13/3/2024 16:25 | Keep your eyes peeled Seed, rampant longs type among us. | millennialinvestor
13/3/2024 15:59 | That WTIW guy on CINE was a complete idiot, he basically thought CINE was a good investment because (a) he likes going to a cinema, and (b) if he liked a particular film. Does nobody look at basic accounting or have even a rudimentary grasp on debt and or debt restructuring etc. Some people deserve to lose money. | owenski |
