18/10/2023 16:04 | So the permit was issued, then the tree huggers wanted a judicial review, the judges agreed (after months and months of going through the information) that there were no issues with the process, and now the tree huggers want to appeal the judge's decisions, can't see it going that far, to be honest. Ludicrous. they have gone to the press to try and exert pressure. Stranger things have happened but I can not see any significant reason for the appeal as the issues raised have already been dismissed. | linesal2
18/10/2023 15:55 | it is for the courts to decide if they have grounds for an appeal. probably why no rns. | linesal2

18/10/2023 15:06 | Proceeds straight to Riverstone, it's hocked to them. | ramlamb
18/10/2023 14:43 | What if they sell islandmagee for £20m Jaknife? | loglorry1
18/10/2023 14:03 | They have zero hope of raising straight equity - the balance sheet is hopelessly insolvent and hence any equity raise would just go straight to the debt providers. The only way that they can raise significant equity is if they first do a debt for equity swap. | jaknife
18/10/2023 13:56 | Laughing all the way - IM decision has been appealed - JW & HARL's communication is atrocious. The BBC know more about the case. The finance deal was balanced on NO appeal. Guess that leaves the share price sub 10p and equity raise very soon. | ramlamb
17/10/2023 22:19 | Jak, we will have to agree to disagree, Time will tell as we both appreciate. | linesal2
17/10/2023 22:06 | linesal2, "renegotiated" as in discussions completed, documents fully signed. You sign loans early in order to ensure that when the accounts are then presented, the loan appears in the balance sheet in long-term liabilities rather than short-term liabilities - which is what HARL have done and is one of the reasons that their balance sheet is such a disaster zone. 17/10/2023 20:47 | Jak,the 25k buyer is HARL related not Avacta. the existing Harl loan matures Dec 2023 Correct, so why sign a new loan before then, HARL "could" renegotiate terms with river but we are doing a far better deal before maturity,by your own admittance harl were renegotiating from last November (just under 12 months ago)so basically within your terms of professionalism... | linesal2
17/10/2023 20:31 | linesal2, HARL's accounts imply that the existing loan matures on 31 Dec 2023. That aside, if you really don't think that they need to get the new loan before March next year why do you think that the board tried to negotiate a new one in November last year? FWIW, the standard with professionally run companies is to ensure that loans are always renegotiated at least 12 months before they mature to ensure that such loans are always shown as long term liabilities rather than current - HARL failed that particular test! Re Avacta, does your 25k buyer have £43m spare? That's how much is outstanding under the death spiral. JakNife | jaknife
17/10/2023 20:21 | Jack, Totaly agree that we have different opinions regarding Harl Re-financing, but why would they need to secure it until entering 2024? it is not needed before March 2024 so why secure it and start before 2024? yes, it would appease shareholders but why have a loan before it is required? leaving it until you need it makes more sense to me. I May be wrong and you may have a good reason why a loan should be taken out 12 months before it is required but I fail to see it. Yes do all the groundwork to secure it but sign when you actually require it. AIMHO | linesal2
17/10/2023 20:11 | Ramlamb, No revelation promised just data and it was on trading in general not stock specific, but if I were you I would liquefy your current assets /accept your losses. The 25k buyer is significantly beyond your reach my old matey but good that you think big but only risk what you can afford to lose, margin calls are not very nice are they! | linesal2
17/10/2023 20:02 | linesal2 - Still awaiting your revelation promised on 11th October. I have been building lots of 25k in anticipation of your insider knowledge. Rinse & repeat again!. | ramlamb
17/10/2023 17:50 | jak- be very thankful you are not a fish, you making an impact with AVCT? Regarding HARL I think your stop loss will do your thinking for you v soon. | linesal2
17/10/2023 17:23 | linesal2, Thank you for the invite to leave but for the various reasons previously outlined above I'm sticking around for the zero (or 3p if it's recapitalised in a debt for equity swap). JakNife | jaknife
17/10/2023 16:56 | I got a feeling things are about to change for the best: Shorters please form an orderly Que at the exit, Loglorry, Jaknife, and Ramlamb you have express privileges so you are allowed to leave at the earliest opportunity, Harland & Wolff is about to take off so thank you for your pre-flight entertainment and enjoy your forward journies. | linesal2
17/10/2023 13:11 | 132,000 shares sold in 20 minute time slot pours doubt on your finance deal. Maybe that was your large volume!! Finance deal is non existent, UKEF are not an option and JW is well aware of that, usual offering 'fluff' RNS's appeases the loyal servants though. | ramlamb
17/10/2023 10:48 | whoever the 25000 buyer is, they must be sure of the financing deal being in the bag. I do predict a large volume just before the news though (the usual trend). | linesal2
14/10/2023 07:41 | requiring permit coordinators, is this not a requirement in the mil specs for the MOD? | linesal2
13/10/2023 10:08 | There is only one JakNife! | jaknife |
