13/2/2006 13:54 | Interesting Thanks | interactive2
13/2/2006 13:52 | interactive There are frequent examples where small cap prices are manipulated downwards to facilitate things like options grants, placings or conversion of loan stock at favourable prices to those controlling the situation. Clearly such situations shaft holders from higher prices, but they also offer a great situation for an opportunistic trade, as once the price has been manipulated down far enough it will often then spike hard. A recent example was BRTR. This one smells to me as if the price may be being walked down to get another placing away at a cheap price. Just a guess, and therefore won't be punting just yet, unless becomes clearer what is going on, or if price hits some absurd low. If my hunch is correct, then part 2 of the play would be a good news RNS- maybe that "strategic partner"? | wiganer
13/2/2006 13:47 | 'Tis rather strange considering the quality brands had a cracking Christmas. | smelgy
13/2/2006 13:47 | Wiganer "engineered" What do you mean? | interactive2
13/2/2006 13:43 | Which makes it a tad less tempting. That said, this may be one of those situations where the drop is being "engineered". | wiganer
13/2/2006 13:41 | someone just dumped 100k, and only got 2.75p.... | currypasty
13/2/2006 13:34 | 0nline limits, SELL 10k@3.5, BUY 100K@3.65, means Pictureframe should be able to fill part of his order. ;-)) | charmer1_23
13/2/2006 13:34 | I spoke to the Chairman recently and he seemed very bullish but I guess he would as it is his company! However, at least there were no negative vibes and if I had the cash, 3.65p seems like a good purchase price with little downside and plenty of upside. | snookered4
13/2/2006 13:28 | That said, this price is tempting... | wiganer
13/2/2006 13:09 | I think pictureframe is long gone. | quotes_4_u

07/2/2006 18:40 | Hi Curry, Yes I was bearish on this due to the fact the sales were not there to warrant the market cap & balance sheet was becoming weak (when it listed). Since then sales have been growing a fast rate, the international tie ups are now on line , frangrance selling well, store is always busy (I often pass it on business) & next partnership rumoured to be announced end of month. Admin costs pegged back only real costs are now advertising expenses. Recent fund raising should see the company through to profit. I am looking to get 500,000 over the next week but getting shares is like pulling teeth ! Regards Pic | pictureframe
