25/7/2006 21:12 | Yes, and all that too! | haggis3000
25/7/2006 19:58 | Doubt it really matters in the longer run. If the company makes good, demand for the shares will soon reflect it. I must say I'm more worried about no apprent progress in any of the deals they keep saying they're negotiating. If they don't make progress, the share price will be of merely academic interest. | ladybird1
28/6/2006 10:48 | let them have their fun, just have a look in about 6 months time ;0) | pictureframe
27/6/2006 13:54 | posts #163, 164: it's no game. With an illiquid stock like this, they could be holding spare stock for yonks if they didn't move the price - same to be said for the spread - it's wide because there's no trading. They've overheads and wages to pay, not a charity! All this conspiracy theory is just masking the fact that this company is a bit ... out of fashion? | jonwig
27/6/2006 11:13 | Here we go again....some punter needs a few bob, sells a grand's worth and share price falls 16%. If somebody buys a grands worth.....probably nothing!!!! WHAT IS THEIR GAME????? | damloy
21/6/2006 19:51 | things are getting interesting now ;0) | pictureframe
21/6/2006 19:10 | Why all of a sudden so much activity????? More buys than sells yet share price drops!!! | damloy
20/6/2006 18:10 | Re 159, I see a couple of larger trades have since been posted - rather belatedly! | ladybird1
20/6/2006 17:00 | I imagine the purpose of the statement is to reassure existing & potential licensees & customers. I like the statement that it is working WITH Arev, I think the first time that has actually ben said. That should reassure the trade that the company has solid backing. Let's hope so. Amusing that the stock is by far the day's biggest riser - on a single trade of 17k shares! | ladybird1
20/6/2006 14:20 | As I said only a matter of time before the contracts start flowing, First of many LONDON (AFX) - Fashion retailer Hardy Amies PLC said it knows no reason for the recent substantial movements of its share price. The company also said in a statement to the market that it is formulating plans with its new major shareholder, Arev Brands, to expand the brand through concessions and stores across the UK as well as generate more licensing revenue. | pictureframe
19/6/2006 15:16 | Pictureframe Thanks. I am in for the same reason/time & hope it goes, but in the knowledge it might not. | ladybird1
19/6/2006 14:45 | household tie up could be big, company is a major player in the far east | pictureframe
19/6/2006 14:21 | hi ladybird I expect to see some interesting tie ups shortly, these guys would not have pumped £3 million into this if they didnt have an exit point in mind. Sales were growing rapidly and I dont see any reason for this to suddenly stop, the drop is dissapointing but if I am in this for at least 3 years so not that bothered. | pictureframe
19/6/2006 14:17 | I assume 'wtf!!' means 'Oh, my goodness!!'? In fact, if you think about it, 3p is the price per share Arev extracted when they bailed out the company with their cash injection. Without it, they would be in receivership by now, if you look at the rate of cash burn disclosed in the accounts. The next year will be make or break and until the promised licensees, etc. are converted into hard fact there will be no appetite for the shares of anyone who wants or needs to sell. Nice to see the Harvey Nichols deal, but the positive discussions with various other parties were described in much the same terms in the interim report in September & this seems to be the only one to have surfaced. There could, of course, be a sudden all-coming-together and achievement of critical mass, which would boost the shares through the roof. We shall have to wait & see. | ladybird1
18/6/2006 17:45 | I have to agree with pictureframe. Looking back at the trades over the last fortnight, the only sizeable trades have been sells, usually at below the quoted price. ie., no active buyers, so for any body looking to sell there is no real market. Given virtually all the holders are tax driven or, for the 49.5% of shares at least, long term holders, this could not be a 'trading'stock. No reason to believe things are or aren't going to plan, but by the nature of the company's position & B/S, it will surely be quite some time before there is any serious uplift in the price - if ever, it is openly a high risk investment, | ladybird1
18/6/2006 12:01 | just an iliquid stock a few sells and it drops like a stone | pictureframe
18/6/2006 11:26 | Mut be some bad news in the offing to warrant such a drop. Any body any ideas? | warranty
16/6/2006 14:58 | I would expect a tie in clause of at least 12 months? | pictureframe
16/6/2006 14:03 | All we need now is for the 6m+ shares that were issued as a settlement of claims at the EGM to be dumped. "...and 6,666,667 new Ordinary Shares to be issued in connection with the settlement of the claims referred to in the Circular to shareholders dated 26 April 2006 to be admitted to trading on 18 May 2006." | haggis3000
16/6/2006 12:57 | oh well, they have plenty of money now + the contacts, just need to stop looking at the share price and check in about 6 months | pictureframe
16/6/2006 12:54 | big sale 120k at 2.75 | haggis3000
16/6/2006 11:58 | 300 quids worth of shares sold and share-price drops almost 22%.....WHAT IS THAT ABOUT??????? | damloy |
