888 down today, as well as the bricks and mortar bookies, but we are already TOO low, and are therefore on the rise!

The GVC UK footprint is tiny. Trivial concerns

Another positive for gvc, these companies will need
revenue from elsewhere, so just buy others, gvc
will be on many radars especially with a wonderful ceo.

Both WMH,LCL,are pants anyway. The sooner everyone realise,s that GVC is the best stock to own in the sector for growth and dividend. No one can argue with that.By the way the best thing I did here was Filter the Crazy Pest.

From The Times/Willy Hill thread

A group of UK members of Parliament are set to publish the findings of a six-month inquiry into fixed-odds betting terminals, with expectations they will call for stricter controls, The Times reported.

The suggestion of an imminent crackdown on the machines hit shares in bookmakers on Thursday morning. William Hill was down 8.6% and rival Ladbrokes Coral Group PLC off 7.2%. The pair have the largest high-street bookie estates in Britain and so would be hit hard by stricter controls on the betting terminals.

And legislation recomending the abolition of bonuses and freebe bets that are impossible to receive.

Dont worry it is coming and it will smash GVC. Regulated or non regulated.

The government are about to announce new rules on gaming machines in the retail units, hence the reason for the fall in WH and Lads.

Won't be surprised to see the share price just pop and take off one day - when everyone's looking the other way :) They were celebrating a record day on the US markets by yesterday's close. Analysts were bemused as the DOW is overbought and due a retrace but looks like the Santa rally has started early this year in the US. Even the volatility metrics are calm. So overall not expecting anything less than a positive day on UK markets, here today.

I think the big seller dynamic has changed since we enlarged as a business. Agree with you Fest, to some extent, previously it was regular clockwork once an overhang was cleared from one big seller, the stock would soar back up. I hope it's the case in this scenario but I'm not as confident.

The euro and Turkish lira weakening has put a dampener on things. But the valuation of the firm is still seriously cheap compared to its competitors. Also, the grey market exposure is a strength not a weakness in my eyes, contrary to analyst views. It's the UK markets that look weakest, and most exposed to further regulation. We're well positioned.

Agree, if you put the all data chart up from when they came
to the market in 2007, the rsi has not been as low as this since 2013
when gvc were 300p.
