13/12/2016 14:07 | Yes, Festario, bit of rotation underway, imo. Others of my recently 'neglected' stocks now starting to gear up for a big move north. Expecting GVC will be joining in soon. | woodhawk
13/12/2016 13:49 | Ouch One way traffic. | slipperysidewinder
13/12/2016 13:40 | Expect a mega bounce, anytime soon! | festario
13/12/2016 12:59 | Expect a research note anytime soon!! | slipperysidewinder
13/12/2016 12:54 | Catching a falling knife more like! | slipperysidewinder
13/12/2016 12:53 | Another big sell gone through. | slipperysidewinder
13/12/2016 12:52 | "I am reviewing my position here must say." You might have been better 'reviewing your position' at 770p instead of down here, nurdin. This is buying territory, imo. | woodhawk
13/12/2016 12:49 | As I say. I am rarely wrong. I have patience. | slipperysidewinder
13/12/2016 12:47 | Bingo Just as predicted. Deluded fools thinking shares only go one way. | slipperysidewinder
13/12/2016 12:12 | Well investment in gambling stocks looks risky right now.....look at Paysafe.I am reviewing my position here must say. | nurdin
13/12/2016 12:09 | Yeah a big block of 923k shares dumped then. With that level of selling it's going to be a while before there is some upwards movement. | diviincomesearch
13/12/2016 11:55 | No sign of in arrest of the fall in share price Dont see many of the £10 by Xmas predictions lately. Looks like i am right again. Heavy selling lately. Sub £6 by XMas? | slipperysidewinder
13/12/2016 11:45 | Those massive sell chunks, 25k, 20k etc... at key price points like 625, 630p over the last couple of weeks, have now become 100k chunks.Lots of them today at 625p.In total, this massive quantity needs to get shifted, and it needs reporting! At least this overhang is being absorbed well by the market, which bodes well for a recovery soon. | festario
13/12/2016 11:19 | Understood active :) 23 of mine are up so far this morning (over two portfolios) but 90% of their movement as a whole, gets absolutely dwarfed when my disproportionately overweight holding in GVC moves significantly in either direction. | velod
13/12/2016 07:53 | Velod I was just stating a few of mine had gone up yesterday, and not offering investment advice whatsoever. dyor regards active | srpactive
13/12/2016 00:32 | Certainly hope so Morph, still holding to the possibility that Friday was the seedling roots of a reversal; just disappointed with Monday's close questioning that assumption. - And well done you, srpactive. Just a touch of irony though to offer up HGM as your first choice as an investors choice of stock :) Surely the gold market is for speculating in - rather than a fundamental investment choice? Unfamiliar with the other two, but same applies - aren't they likewise, both speculative rather than out and out investment choices? Still if you're making money out of them, then your point is made. | velod
12/12/2016 21:49 | velod Maybe for traders, but investors like me, probably not bothered. I have had a good day hgm, lam and gdl. dyor regards active | srpactive
12/12/2016 20:23 | Have faith Velo. The santa rally is a coming... | morph7
12/12/2016 18:57 | Dissapointing day for those like me looking for signs of a reversal. The markets too, were also dissapointing in general today. Had to happen. GVC has had a terrific run this year but market sentiment has changed to firmly bearish against the company. Big hopes pinned on a reversal by lower 620's - if it should sink lower from here that is. For the time being, bearish market sentiment rules whilst positive fundamentals take a back seat. | velod
12/12/2016 13:07 | Sorry off topic all. I mentioned gdl at 2p the other month, just crossed the 50dma to the upside, now buying 3.49p. A recovery stock, my area. dyor but I thought I would mention it. regards active | srpactive
12/12/2016 11:49 | CM Or get my old turntable out for my old vinyls, oh hang on a minute what is that people are paying good money for vinyls, really. IG Correct, but ensure PI locked in to purchase before buying WH. dyor | srpactive
12/12/2016 11:19 | Excellent analogy Popper Joe. That reminds me - must take that DVD back to Blockbusters... Of course as IG says, a deal that hives off the shops to someone desperate enough to take them might well be a decent deal - but does Lad or WMH have anything else thats worth GVC having and keeping? It seems to me that LAD or WMH would be desperate to do a deal with GVC, not the other way round. Of course, KA has also said that deals are very likely to be done in areas that GVC has no or little geographic presence. Then again I'm sure he will do a deal if the right one comes up. Then again, how about digesting bwin before doing anything that would create a massive software and logistical mess. Who knows... CM. | cheshiremoggie
12/12/2016 10:40 | If a deal needs to be done, it should be a merger with William Hill, with their physical shops immediately hived off to a private equity buyer, and Kenny at the helm to run the merged online businesses. | investmentguru
12/12/2016 10:36 | I'm not sure what type of person still uses betting shops? I know the old fellows doing 20p yankees probably still wander in every day on their way down to the local pub. Then there are the chavs who use them as a meeting place to show off their ill gotten wares. But other than those, I would have thought everybody with disposable income has or will bet on-line. Buying betting shops now feels a bit like buying video rental shops a couple of years ago. | popper joe
12/12/2016 10:23 | You're right, Cheshire, it's no contest. Online potential remains vast; and that's where the expertise is here. | woodhawk |
