29/11/2016 12:29 | srpactive Thank you | ecoover
29/11/2016 11:57 | GC Just thought you might be interested I have been buying more lAM over the past couple of months and started buying more aly. My sectors for 2017 are obviously online gambling, gold miners, certain retailers, gas exploration and oil related. dyor regards active | srpactive
29/11/2016 11:52 | Agree with you srp. | garycook
29/11/2016 11:20 | I think we will get two dividends in 2017 but there is also the chance as KA alluded to of possibly a special. dyor regards active | srpactive
29/11/2016 10:05 | Ecover, several of us answered your question when you asked it last week. Please read the posts. | festario
29/11/2016 09:51 | Srpactive Are expecting any more divi payments in 2017 or only this one in already declared in February ??? | ecoover
29/11/2016 09:50 | Bit early to read anything into the share price but 660 was an old support level. Let's see if it has any legs left in it today. | velod
29/11/2016 09:49 | Just month end trading, new month soon and a charge towards new year, then dividend year 2017. Fantastic. dyor regards active | srpactive
29/11/2016 09:39 | A very irritating drop.I would like to see some negatives that would justify this sell off,but cant find any. | nurdin
29/11/2016 09:18 | .... unless of course it collapses like today!! | festario
28/11/2016 21:22 | Well it was a good run last week. But time to pay the piper for that run finishing with an uninspiring performance today. I'm expecting bearish action to overwhelm the bulls continuing on from today into tomorrow Tues. Don't know how long for, nor how deep, although I could hazard a guess, but not expecting it to be more than shortlived. Not to be confused with a shorting attack - just normal market bear conditions in GVC for a while. | velod
28/11/2016 12:45 | As regards buying Betfred - I assume Betfred online deals mostly if not entirely with the uK market? In which case GVC have clearly stated that future acquisitions are likely to be in geographic areas where they have little or no presence. The UK comprises 10% of GVCs business so simply does not qualify. IMHO GVC should not and as they stated will not be buying any more UK assets. CM. | cheshiremoggie
28/11/2016 12:43 | Another article today on citywire. -------------------- From the Times: Ladbrokes Coral is reportedly weighing up a bid for Australia’s largest bookie in a deal that would cost the betting giant more than £2 billion. ==================== | srpactive
28/11/2016 11:01 | No quite correct I meant buying the on line part of Betfred. Agree bookies are only going to be owned by private equity I feel. dyor regards active | srpactive
28/11/2016 10:08 | Good find SPR. Personally i hope GVc are not looking at them, or Hills come to think of it. Betting shops are a liability in the long run. Lots of risk on the downside with regulators getting concerned about FOBT's. Betfred have a big shop estate and a smaller online business. | brownie69
27/11/2016 17:40 | This on citywire today. Betfred owner Fred Done has appointed investment bank Rothschild to review strategic options for his company – including a sale or floating it. ==================== Could this be on our radar, have we not just agreed a contract with them? dyor regards active | srpactive
25/11/2016 19:49 | Fwiw, I think a part of the drop was the fear of GVC making a bid for Amaya. As Amaya is in the process of being purchased by another party, and subsequent to other comments from GVC, this is now unlikely. Dyor. Imho. | timanglin
25/11/2016 18:58 | Looks like the messy seller is finished. Normal service being resumed. | brownie69
25/11/2016 18:06 | Well a pleasant finish to this week, with one resistance level breached today and now sitting positively ready to march on to the next, come next week. Like GVC's slow march back to camp most technicals are slowly turning positive. I would say on the whole each is carefully, slowly, turning positive as if saying: ' Yeah okay but watch your back as you go' . They're not yet ready to let their hair down and go all Riverdancing :) | velod
25/11/2016 16:45 | Cannot be going to 860p cos Slippy said so ... solid week, MACD turned to buy territory this week too | mnomis
25/11/2016 16:45 | Another day and another 1% uptick to 676p in the last 1/2 hour on Google Finance. I'm happy. Good w/e to all. | fizzypop
25/11/2016 15:52 | I do not know why the market is messing about with gvc, just get it to 860p and then resume the dividends, job done. regards active | srpactive
25/11/2016 15:43 | Quite so mylands | scottishfield
25/11/2016 15:41 | Started this week below 650p and ending about 670p, so another solid week of recovery for the stock. | mylands |
