06/12/2016 15:29 | I think we should be advised the record date shortly, shouldn't we? Payment is due on 17th January. Also re dividends, I note that Dividendmax is currently estimating totals of 36p in 2017 and 42p for 2018. | woodhawk

06/12/2016 15:24 | Could someone update me on timescales: 1. Next update/results 2. Confirmation of inaugural (special) dividend. I haven't been following things as closely as I should, but know this sell off is of no worry. Amazing amount of rubbish spouted on here. Just a bit of extra research is required. | plasybryn
06/12/2016 15:19 | Who'd have thought it? Slippy is trying so benevolently to prevent us losing money! Realistically he's sounding desperate for us not to BUY!Too late mate.By the way, I'm still thinking blue finish. | festario

Quick post again your task masters want many post per minute, quick. | srpactive
06/12/2016 13:25 | srpactive Your previous predictions of a sharp pull'out have been WRONG. | slipperysidewinder

06/12/2016 13:11 | Before you listen to people who have no idea of what the future regulatory climate has in store. Think of this. And think very very carefully. No matter where GVC's miriad of domiciles and havens are, they will be absolutely slaughtered if any sought of ban ( which I believe is coming )on TV and on-line, and a curbing of introductory offers and bonuses is sanctioned. Just take a look at IG index Plus 500 and CMC today. Their investors thought this would not happen. They were WRONG. GVC and others are on the radar. Make no mistake. The authorities believe its been a long time coming. A broader debate about gambling which has gotten out of hand given the shift online. Before it was a seedy betting shop but now it is online with huge amounts of advertising. The online betting companies are sponsoring football clubs etc and leave a huge number of their clients bankrupt. Paying players and agents tens of millions of pounds year on year. The results of restricting multi-media advertising will sink the share price here. | slipperysidewinder
06/12/2016 12:55 | This has not repeat NOT bottomed out. Don't get sucked in. Recommendations from industry-wide on-line gaming and subsequent heavy legislation, for unregulated gaming operators awaits. I am trying to dave you guys dome money. Trust me. There will be a double whammy here. | slipperysidewinder
06/12/2016 12:35 | I smell a bottom out. The news that people feared was coming has come.Sell off complete.Opposite of buy the rumour sell the fact. With bad news, sell the rumour, buy the fact | trentendboy
06/12/2016 11:58 | Climbing away from this morning's low of 620p. Volume is seriously low by mid day. In fact intetest is so low it's now unlikely to reach average volume by close, subsequently therefore, bears are unlikely to do further serious damage today on such paltry volume. Same goes for bulls. EDIT: share price fall was heavy from open to 10:30am-ish due to it being mainly all sellers. Rise from then until currently, is due to being mainly all buyers. Sounds obvious but yesterday it they were shadowing each other, move for move for bulk of the day. Not today. Each side is letting the other run with the ball for extended period, before even thinking of striking back. Summary : Low volume day = not a day for drawing conclusions on firm direction of share price | velod
06/12/2016 11:49 | People who boast about how much money they've made generally haven't made very much in reality. | investmentguru
06/12/2016 10:59 | Made more money today than i ever have. Closed out Nanoco after a near 2 year short. Closed playtech short IG short snd Plus 500. Only GVC left. And i will wait and I will wait and I will wait some more. | slipperysidewinder
06/12/2016 10:55 | If Playtech is in the brownstuff...its poor timing by Fidelity as they now have a 5% stake | kop202
06/12/2016 10:49 | Whst makes me laugh is that you guys think the authorities will continue to allow GVC to operate within a wild-west environment, totally immune from regulatory scrutiny and legislation for ever and eternity, ducking here and diving there. Paying out big dividends to morally bankcrupt shareholders who don't give s damn where their income originates from. You will find out soon enough that with a few scribbles of a ballpoint, the regulators arms can suddenly be extended. | slipperysidewinder
06/12/2016 10:46 | That would be nice. | garycook
06/12/2016 10:44 | Blue finish anyone? | festario
06/12/2016 10:38 | Slippery, if you were so on top of this FCA clampdown, I am guessing you made a fortune on shorting IG Group, CMC, Plus500, where CFD's is not a rounding error in the companies business? | mnomis
06/12/2016 10:30 | It all makes sense now. | slipperysidewinder
06/12/2016 10:27 | Now let us talk about the finance director. My sources tell me that the reason Richard Cooper the current FD is shortly to be replaced by controversial figure, Paul Miles, currently Chief Financial Officer of consumer credit group Wonga is as folows..... Paul Miles is no stranger to back office battles with regulatory bodies. During his time at Wonga, the company has been under constant pressure from authorities to clean up its act in an effort to provide its customers with a more transparent and fairer deal. In the light of the current industry-wide enquiry into misleading and non-payment of incentives and bonuses by operators, is it any wonder that GVC have turned to a battle hardened financial operations director in readiness for a regulatory onslaught. | slipperysidewinder
06/12/2016 10:25 | 824 bought, 620p, delighted. | festario |
