A takeover of WMH would be interesting but I'm not sure what they would do with all the high street shops etc. Sell them I guess to someone. In fact a similar type solution to 888/Rank which doesn't seem to gaining traction.

Not sure if the other big outfits with high street shops would help GVC as the monopolies commission would probably have severe problems with so much high street domination.

Therefore Rank have to switch from 888 to GVC - not sure they would want that damage to their long term reputation.

Looks like people sold the profit at 650p, no doubt another dip will be created at some stage for the trend line to be kept intact.

Are we running away a bit too fast. Its at pretty much an all time high of c£6.50 and that equates to less then £2billion capitalisation.

Some way to go before it gets to £4.4billion.

srpactive - currently £4.4 bln would put a company in 90th place which would guarantee a place in the FTSE 100. However a company may still get in as long as it is in the top 100 companies which currently stands at £3.7bln.

There are currently 17 companies in the FTSE 100 that are valued at less than £5bln.

Crikey! If this is what happens on premium listing day, I wonder what FTSE 250 day is going to look like?

Correct the increase in capital, will more than compensate for lower dividends, which are more healthy for GVC,s progress, and growth.

So will I, though the gravy train of big div payouts is over, or so Kenny said when he mentioned that future divs would be at the level paid by the sector. Now, that will be a big decrease, especially for those of us who have become used to 10% and higher returns on our investment. Still, a £10 share price would more than compensate for the loss of income!!

active,Thanks for that.Think I will wait for £15 plus and the FTSE 100,pick up the Dividends while waiting !!!

They would need to be 90th place or better, not sure what the
value would be off the top of my head but would have thought
about £5bn, 1500p.

What is roughly the Market value to enter the FTSE 100 atm,and what would GVC,s share price have to be to enter ?

Spractive, agreed, hold for dividend and share price growth all the way to FTSE100. It will be a big welcome return to have the dividend reinstated next year!

And when it gets to 1000 or 1200p, you will not sell either
as we will be heading towards a ftse100 listing which will
then send us closer to 1800p. I bought ezj at 126p and it eventually
got on the ftse 100 and a 1800p share price, sold between 1200p
and 1800p.

Should be interesting, but then the profit takers will inevitably move in.I'm more looking forward to the top 250 listing, now that is is significant!

Well the way the chart is taking shape, I think a
challenge of 650p come Monday.
