Premium listing from Monday. I wonder if it will boost the SP, or will there be a delayed reaction?

Thank you, I said there were more wiser than me on the
thread.

Strategically 888 need a sports book and I'm guessing after the way the Bwin bid was fought out that there is unlikely to be co operation in splitting up Hills between 888 and GVC.

Ps could be a path to the ftse100

Srpactive, I like your thinking, i'm sure Kenny is watching very closely and might be tempted although he does have a lot on his plate already.

Could it be another carve up, gvc having sports betting
and the rest between 888 and Rank? Thoughts from the wiser here than
me, which means everyone.

Both 888 and Rank have zero experience of sports betting.
If I'm honest I don't understand how they can bid for Hills until they have got together and integrated their businesses.
I've shorted Hills as I cant see the Rank 888 takeover happening. Cant imagine who else would bid ATM either. Thus Hills could still be around when Kenny is ready to pounce.

Yes Mylands, 312p is what I sold my WMH for last Friday, so it really has fizzled out, it's back there again.

WMH heading back to where they were before the 'approach'.

woodhawk ~ I am sorry to have upset you with some prudence. Have 29,000 of stock here at a cost of £16 and may it hugely grow.

Now are you happy with itv, 280p in time.

Cold water being poured by the media on to the WMH approach by Rank and 888, questioning their logic and abliity to manage a much larger group. After the initial spike up WMH tracking back down.

As usual, I'm looking to add as the price comes down. This stock's been a good performer since I got initial amount given to me in 2013 (from the take over of sbt). Now it's my second biggest holding of over 200k

I notice you've been rewriting your 'old' posts (you only have three posts in total, don't you?) supermike1! The first one now reads "0x0". Trying to delete the evidence of whatever you're up to?

Gaaston,

Sounds like a totally insubstantial and scattershot approach to blatant scaremongering on your part: "mind out for regulation", "market crash", "this stock might momentarily stumble"... give it a rest! You could say that about any stock on the market.

Nevermind, I reckon you will still have done handsomely
here. I think ftse 100 within a few years.

Regarding commodity stocks, I have filled up on gold miners over
the past couple of years, but gvc is still a fantastic stock.
One word to sum gvc's success, management.

Festario ~ it can be the time to reduce a holding (even if only by a small amount!) when seemingly a bright future is "guaranteed". Quite a few of my commodities have stretched by 3, 4 and 6 fold this year. I am of an age when it'll be right and proper to put the lot into the hands of my broker who comments "mind out for regulation changes in a stock like GVC". I am mindful of a market crash before, say, Easter when this stock might momentarily stumble. Let's keep Kenny on a healthy diet: we don't want any stress-related Directors problems. I have plenty of stock left, so good to have it at nil cost too.

No real reason Gaston?? Ha ha...Soon to be a FTSE top 250 company, shares in high demand from tracker funds, return to dividends in about 8 months, further acquisitions in the medium term.I've lost count of short term investors who've fallen by the wayside, ( I also foolishly sold 20,000 shares at 270p), to buy IOF, biggest financial mistake of my life.

Past years GVC has done me proud, yet almost every poster here is constantly optimistic and, for no real reason, I've taken 25% off the table, perhaps a prudent move. Here-on-in I feel the best commodity stocks will out-perform everything including this share which I keep as a big chunk of the portfolio but @ zero cost.

GVC buying William Hill organisation sounds like a pipe dream, but that's exactly what I thought before they gobbled up SBT, then Bwin, my jaw dropped wide when I saw those RNS's.So, nothing is beyond the scope of this fantastic management team.
