If so, by inference, it will be under terms acceptable to AKIPUR. And that really would send us towards a very happy Xmas.
One point on which I do take issue with you though, as I’ve mentioned before, is regarding the quality of the Shaikan oil. True, it’s a sour oil with a high sulphur content but it is clearly not the worthless sludge you describe. As you know, the company has processing plants which remove the impurities and make sure it meets the specifications for Iraq’s Kirkuk-Ceyhan pipeline into Turkey. Production costs are thereby increased but nevertheless the oil is readily marketable and profitable.
Your other points however, concerning the IOC/KRG/Baghdad relationships, payments, contracts etc are well made, but too forthright for the tastes of many of the “takeover tomorrow” mob. Are you one of them now, as well?
