10/10/2023 16:38 | Pete - its about the erasure of Palestine and I guess the deep states are happy for this to be done at pace that most in the world won't notice. Children being killed daily in their own land and the bull that is touted. Only last Wednesday the IDF entered a house and killed a 16 year old and the lies they touted after. Oppressed and subjugated eventually fight back. | mustau
10/10/2023 16:18 | Hmmm, the share price is springing northward in a manner that Begdog junior hasn't for some decades. How can I put a negative spin on that, FFS? | begdog paid 4quid 55 in feb12
10/10/2023 16:15 | So this is the last piece of the puzzle and an important one for the IOCs as will determine the future of payments. I hope they have the balls to stay firm. Fine for GKP as self sufficient currently, but the others? A few more weeks to wait is no skin off of my nose. | pittcock
10/10/2023 16:15 | Rudaw English @RudawEnglish · 46m Replying to @RudawEnglish “The oil companies have said that our contract with the Kurdistan Regional Government is not a service contract,” Barzani said, noting that the price set for barrels of Kurdish oil and Iraqi oil is not the same. #MERIForum 3:52 pm · 10 Oct 2023 | habshan
10/10/2023 15:56 | "All appears to be heading in the right direction but when we are told that there are no major differences between the ICG and KRG does that mean that APIKUR are on board." The answer to that question appears to be no. The picture attached to this tweet is of President Nechirvan Barzani. 3:26 pm · 10 Oct 2023 Rudaw English @RudawEnglish “Turkey has expressed its readiness for oil to flow again. There are two big problems for oil to be exported. First, the money of the companies [IOCs] per this agreement, who will pay them,” he asked. #MERIForum So the pipeline will stay empty and Turkey will get no discounted oil or transit fees. Iraq will continue to lose $1 billion a month. Iraqi farmers will have to sell their land and livestock and schools will continue to have no drinking water. Until GKP and APIKUR say otherwise. Because of their own arrogance and stupidity the ICG are having to learn the hard way what an internationally recognised legally binding contract is. | habshan
10/10/2023 15:49 | You're a Pongo, what would you know about ships? | ptmorris1
10/10/2023 15:17 | Thanks, but felt a bit silly. | petebreeze37
10/10/2023 15:07 | Ah well spotted mate. Very good app to show that level of detail. | shortsqueezer
10/10/2023 14:56 | Shortsqueeze, I discovered what that blue covering around Vallesina is. I zoomed the page and the blue color is the tracking lines of the vessel on its anchor. | petebreeze37
10/10/2023 14:26 | Wonder how Sudani's nice cup of pollonium brew is going down today? | pittcock
10/10/2023 14:26 | It is on several Turkish newspapers ,ceyhan pipeline will be in operation this week.. | nina65
10/10/2023 14:23 | Just another 11p to go until I finally break even.🤞ԍ | begdog paid 4quid 55 in feb12
10/10/2023 14:22 | 400,000 + bopd is not trivial.Plus it could be 1 m I a couple of years if APIKUR are paid..I am expecting a payment RNS in not too distant. | doctortakeover
10/10/2023 13:49 | Thanks for that list Habshan , easy to loose sight of the order of things. | nestoframpers
10/10/2023 13:48 | I can imagine the war lords are angry at being held hostage by little old Apikur. Hope Apikur keep strong. | petebreeze37
10/10/2023 13:39 | APIKUR hold the whip hand and need to resolve back payments from KRG before any oil is export, along with amended PSC terms that reflect part of a tripartite agreement with Turkey and IGC. Another few weeks me thinks but it will finally be nice to see a valuation for GKP with political risk reduced. | highly geared
10/10/2023 13:38 | Fair point. I agree it does look very promising | shortsqueezer
10/10/2023 13:31 | "But wouldn’t your last point warrant an RNS?" Yes, but only when the whole deal has been signed and sealed, and we aren't at that point yet. There's still a lot of discussion/negotiati We seem to be making progress but we aren't there yet. | habshan
10/10/2023 13:18 | Great stuff Habs. But wouldn't your last point warrant an RNS? | shortsqueezer
10/10/2023 13:16 | So from the snippets that we've had over the last 24 hours the situation as is stands APPEARS to be:- a) - The pipeline is ready to go or will be by tomorrow. b) - There are "no major issues between the Kurdistan and Iraqi governments, their differences have been settled." c) - And that the issue is that the Turkish government "desires to reach a compromise on oil exports", which presumably takes us back to the fines/pending arbitration/transit fees and discount situation. d) - And that last point is presumably what the Turkish Energy Minister has been or is about to be dispatched to Baghdad to thrash out. "The Turkish Energy Minister is visiting Baghdad for the export of Kurdistan's #petroleum." All appears to be heading in the right direction but when we are told that there are no major differences between the ICG and KRG does that mean that APIKUR are on board. Let's see. | habshan |
