Doggy I am aware of the sour qualities of Shaiken oil and the difficulties posed by it’s hydrogen sulphide content. However it is not your best point, as proved by it’s unhindered (but discounted) marketability during the years of production.

Suppose that'll be the same expert who wrongly informed us Shaikan crude would be sold at below $20 per barrel to the local market and that there would be very little demand for it.

Not sure of the technicalities but don't see any reason why the exported oil will be any different to what has been shipped successfully for the past few years.

klassic, I know exactly what the sludge is comprised of/contains and I really don't need you or anyone else here to explain it. Its API is between 12-18 and is in comparison to the high quality oil of some producing fields (API 38+) in Koruptistan, sludge and is worth a great deal less than the top quality oil despite all the clueless fantasists here trying to con themselves into believing it would fetch ludicrous $'s per barrel. It won't wherever it goes.

Do go over to the other well known bb and check out a post or two that clearly explain the situation as regards top quality oil versus sludge.

When and if the pipe opens and oil from Koruptistan flows through it into Turkey and out to Ceyhan imho the share price of all of the producers there will rise materially. Imho its very likely £1.50 here will be achieved. However, the interesting issue is how much of the sludge will be joining the top quality oil on its journey.
