I need £1.50 a share so bad. If I don't see it this week, my loan shark Aggressive Alan says he's not only going to rip off my nuts with a butter knife, he's then going to feed me them sauteed with a side garnish of red cabbage.
Oh why oh why did I ever buy back in??? 😰😥

Day 198 fantasists of no pipe. Is the pipe going to open and get oil this week? £1.50 if it does?

Vallesina nearby as you say, just one of a number that regularly trade in the region. Reportedly 4 other vessels that could fit the bill are slated for delivery to Ceyhan 9/10/11th next week.

"£100 is totally unrealistic, £10-20 isn't"

LOL, dream on gullible moron.

When there have been several opportunities over the years for any possible interested company to take the company at way less than £1 (1p in reality) why would they offer the ludicrous sums you fantasists post? Oil companies buy what has been proven and not the fantasy figures you lot invent. Check out the CPR's for the 1P numbers and then take 58% of it. Even using the 2P numbers is very iffy. Add in the cash at bank and hope the hosts pay back some of the money owed. Btw, API 12-18 sludge is a long way from Total's top quality API oil when they sold and departed the land of delusion. Manage your expectations and use $1-$1.25pb in the unlikely event there is a consolidation within the Apikur club.

Does Vallesino ring a bell with anyone, it's in the vicinity of Botas.
Probably nothing but I think it may have been one of the tankers taking the pipeline oil before the stoppage.

It's good news that Turkey is saying the pipeline is ready to open. It's good news that Iraq says they are ready to send out oil. We have not heard from the company to see if they are ok to send more oil when they are still waiting on previous payments. Surely it's pointless sending more for free when they can sell small amounts locally until they agree how arrears are going to be handled. Now is the time to hold fast and get an agreement prior to sending it down the pipe.

From the same article: The groundwork for exporting natural gas through Turkish territory is already in place, requiring only the installation of a pipeline to reach the Turkish border. Just last month, the Iraqi government unveiled an ambitious $17 billion project aimed at constructing a railway and gas pipeline to connect Europe and multiple other countries via Turkey. However, the success of this endeavor hinges on integrating the natural gas resources of the Kurdistan Region into the project.

The Kurdistan Region's substantial natural gas reserves could significantly bolster its political and economic influence on the global stage. However, internal conflicts between ruling parties must be resolved to leverage these reserves.....

The $6 remark was made weeks ago and had been roundly dismissed... Things are moving on the right direction and leverage is being applied. Hopefully we'll receive some very positive very soon. Do consider, when they finally announce an agreement, and they will, GKP will after all these years, be derisked and finally open for Unobstructed business...

Thank you for your diligence and sharing your news findings depressing (particularly
the $6 -$35 bit) as they sometimes are. Iraq does not really want to have harmony, equality, stability etc etc

Instead it meets other interested parties, agrees, promises, passes laws, budgets etc but then makes a mess of the follow up which just embody previous inequalities of treatment. The budget was particularly disappointing having shewn so much promise for a new start. I do hope that the Kurdish Oil Companies stand firm because if not johnbuy will never see his dreams come true.

beernut - "Saw this last Thursday and didn’t know if he meant the day before or this coming Wednesday. ? Anybody"

Yes it's certainly not clear is it but I don't think it matters whether it means last Wednesday or this coming Wednesday.

What is clear is that the politicians are still in the process of negotiating the deal, and that deal must have the blessing of APIKUR before they are prepared to go back into production.

So I think that what we can take from the above article is that when the deal is all agreed the pipeline will be ready and waiting.

Hopefully not long to go.

Kurdistan KRG Oil Iraq-Turkey Pipeline
ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – There are significant ongoing efforts to resume the Kurdistan Region’s halted export through the Iraq-Turkey Pipeline, a top Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) diplomat said on Sunday.

Remarks by Safeen Dizayee, the head of the KRG Department of Foreign Relations, came during the launch of the Kurdish Diplomacy Week symposium held at Salahaddin University-Erbil, where Kurdish diplomats, academics, and students are gathering to discuss topics concerning Kurdistan Region’s diplomatic efforts and ties.

Hailing the Kurdish diplomacy's success in attracting foreign direct investment, particularly in the energy sector, Dizayee said, “There are numerous discussions and efforts currently to resume the [Kurdistan Region oil] export."

The US, the UK, and France are involved in the efforts to resume the export, he said.

The export has been halted since March 25 at the request of Baghdad after Iraq claimed victory against Turkey at the International Chamber of Commerce’s Court of Arbitration for allowing the KRG to independently export its oil.

However, the Turkish energy minister last week announced that the pipeline is ready for export, but the crude flow has yet to restart. A top Iraqi diplomat on Thursday said Ankara had agreed to resume the export.

Baghdad and Anakra are reportedly in discussion over the payment of $1.5 billion the court awarded to Iraq as the result of damages it had suffered.

Turkish officials have also asked Iraqi counterparts to drop the remaining court cases against Ankara on the energy dispute, according to media reports.

Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), Turkey, and Iraq have participated in several rounds of negotiations since then to resume the export, whose loss is estimated to be nearly $6 billion.

Oil companies and a number of countries, including the US and Russia, have previously called for the resumption of oil exports.

Prior to the halt, the Kurdish region was independently exporting 450,000 barrels of oil per day through the pipeline, which was also sending another 100,000 barrels of Iraqi oil from Kirkuk Province.

In order for the Kurdistan Region to receive a 12.6 percent share of Iraq’s budget annually, it has to sell 400,000 barrels of oil per day via SOMO, per the country’s budget law.
