So you don't make anything up then Sarah and it's all correct, and it's all in the RNS. So where does it say this in the RNS:- 648346 - "S12, production is now suspended." Post it up. | habshan | |

25/1/2022 18:45 | Bigdog - "Seven years on from the hyped 55k a day plans" Let's just have a look at that shall we, it's the second or third time you've said it today. Plan - "to decide on and make arrangements for in advance." Seven years ago takes us back to January 2015, so in January 2015 a plan was put together in advance to expand production to 55kbpd. All good so far, it's always good to have a plan and if they hadn't had one everyone would quite rightly have been complaining. The plan couldn't be implemented at that time though because the KRG weren't paying us so there was no money and the plan needed money, so it goes without saying that it had to be put on hold until the money was available. Because of the non payment they couldn't service the debt which had been run up to develop the field to where it was at the time resulting in the restructuting in Summer of 2016. So that takes 18 months off your seven years. For the next two years Jon Ferrier quite rightly wasn't prepared to make the same mistakes of the Kozel era and go back into debt to finance more expansion so he waited until a reliable payment cycle had been established and he had $200 million in the bank. So that takes another two years off your seven years. The expansion to 55k started in June 18 with a 6 month mobilization to order and procure materials and a rig which were like hen's teeth at that time, eventually they were able to find a Chinese rig which needed upgrading to bring it up to scratch before they could start using it. So there's another six months off your seven years. In January 2020 Covid appeared and in March work was stopped for 15 months. So there's another 15 months off your seven years. That makes a total of 5 years and three months off your seven years. Leaving one year and 9 months or 2 years and three months if you include the mobilization period during which they have debottlenecked and upgraded the production facilities to 28.75kbpd each, procured and fitted equipment to make the wells easier to clean up, worked over existing wells and drilled five new wells Sh-9 Sh-12 Sh-13 Sh-14 and Sh-15 which is ongoing, and all in a place like Kurdistan while at the same time having to deal with Covid related problems such as travel restrictions, quarantine of staff travelling in and out and all the rest of it. It's absolutely astonishing that they've achieved all that in around two years. As somebody who's spent all my working life in the Middle East I take my hat off to them. I do understand though Sarah why you, who have never worked a day in the industry never mind in the Middle East hasn't a clue. But it would be better if you didn't come on here every day broadcasting it to the world. | habshan |
