10/7/2021 19:28 | nobull, The the only subsurface Structure Maps (as far as I can see) currently available to us are the Ryder Scott maps that were published via the CPR of Nov-30 2010. They show the Butmah formation on slide 53. There is another small, top Jurassic depth map on P23 on the ERCE CPR which was published in Aug-2016 - the fault representation is different on this map, however - more detailed. You will have to do some basic coordinate estimates using basic Trig, but you should be able to place (using the SH field map on P6 of the AR Presentation), relatively accurately, the wells 10, 11 and 13. Having access to a satellite image service helps a lot for surface positions. You will notice the crestal position, around which these wells have obviously been targeted. Subsurface deviation/directions of the wellbores is open to conjecture. | broadford bay
10/7/2021 19:18 | Nobull, Won't be a duster. Read my posts ! | kurdman63
10/7/2021 19:11 | "If it's anything other than a producer ... How would that be explained away?" Pensioner, I don't know. I just hope it is a producer. | nobull
10/7/2021 19:04 | Pensioner you should know by now its always rubbish from that lot. | highlander7
10/7/2021 19:01 | The KRG were in breach of International Contract Law. No hiding place. Iraq’s semi-autonomous Kurdish region reached a financial settlement with Dana Gas and its partners over delays at a natural gas project. The Kurdistan Regional Government said it will immediately pay UAE-based Dana and its partners in the Pearl Petroleum consortium $600 million, plus a further $400 million to invest in development of fields in the region, according to a statement on the KRG’s website. Pearl Petroleum agreed to boost gas output at the Khor Mor field by 160 percent starting in about two years. A further $1.2 billion will be reclassified from a debt owed by the KRG to Pearl to become an outstanding cost recoverable by the venture from revenues generated from Khor Mor and the Chemchemal field. You are a clueless idiot. | highlander7
10/7/2021 18:55 | If it's anything other than a producer it will put a serious dent in the 55k bopd in the 4th quarter. How would that be explained away? | pensioner2
10/7/2021 18:47 | Pensioner, you would be amazed at how some companies can turn dusters into wells that provide valuable information, or worse, "the rig wasn't powerful enough so we will re-enter it at a later date", and then they never talk about the well again. | nobull
10/7/2021 18:45 | The trolls seem to be suggesting we're about to get our first duster. The bod can't spin one of those. I guess we'll have to wait for the rns. | pensioner2
10/7/2021 18:40 | Highlander,hi "Ill spell it out for you then NoBull If a potential buyer doesnt like the PSC he wont invest in Kurdistan , at a time when the Kurds are desperate to increase oil production. Are you really that naive ?" But this is not Foreign Direct Investment as in proposing a brand new project and dealing directly with the KRG - the purchaser is buying Shaikan off us, with the PSC included, and the purchaser will use the adverse profit sharing terms to offer us less, and certainly not $8 a barrel of oil in the ground. | nobull
10/7/2021 18:21 | The field has shrunk massively every which way including depth. Been telling you delusional clowns for years. The CPR's continue to prove me correct. You're welcome. | bigdog5
10/7/2021 18:18 | The Insti's will know they made a massive error in not taking the £3p a few years back that only reached that figure on massive hype and spin. All of which can be clearly seen as failed. Just as history has always proved it will. | bigdog5
10/7/2021 18:16 | NestofRampers I am not talking about the edge of the legal boundary of Shaikan, rather the edge of the black area, which looks like a seismic map, showing the limits of where the oil is. The oil does not go up to the legal boundary, right? Or have I got that wrong? You posted the image yourself a few days ago, but Postimage now gives a 503 service error on your post. While the image you posted didn't show SH-13, it was to a similar scale to others that do show SH-13. I wouldn't be suspicious about it, except our BoD has not named the type of well it is drilling: exploration, appraisal, production? It's as if they only want to name it AFTER the event so our BoD doesn't look foolish if it turns out a bit different from what was planned. It is harder to justify those obnoxious bonuses if they make mistakes, right? | nobull
10/7/2021 18:13 | highlander7 proving yet again he's clueless about contracts and how things work "out there". He still hasn't worked out after 10 years who controls absolutley everything, why and how. nestofBS proving that he still beieves in the extremely out of date info that is totally worthless. Its the difference between understanding about the issues that the field has and those that still mistakingly believe in the BS that was announced/published under the Kozel regime. | bigdog5

10/7/2021 16:44 | Wonder why that chaps moniker is nobull ? Did GKP get the Map wrong ! I see SH-13 is not bang in the middle of any concentration of oil - it looks to be on the edge, | nestoframpers
10/7/2021 15:49 | Nobull ..back in the bin with the rest of them. | highlander7
10/7/2021 15:45 | NoBull "I can't see why a new purchaser would have more bargaining power to change the contract to be more in the purchaser's favour than it would be with the KRG. Ill spell it out for you then NoBull If a potential buyer doesnt like the PSC he wont invest in Kurdistan , at a time when the Kurds are desperate to increase oil production. Are you really that naive ? Incidentally you may find that that, and the O&G Law may well be the sticking points in any sale of GKP. IMO | highlander7
