Thick TonyRgds my CPR valuation I based my estimate of sale at 15-25 pounds a share on NPV10With the scale of resource so large, and length of production at least 20yrs plus, its possible to imagine a motivated bidder (Chinese most obvious) might use NPV 0.That could push a sale into the 30 pounds plus territory

They were very unlikely to reach 55k this year because there's evidence of other well's production was/is falling. The virus gave them a timely excuse for another failed target. Mid 30's production would mean at least 4 new wells probably with ESP's however it would seem they aren't going to help as I've said many times.

It is intriguing the II buying continuously going on.
Considering the macro economy.

And the Co performance in the last year. (ON track for 55k bopd - yeah sure JF)

PLUS the continuous self reward for mostly failure.


Perhaps, after all, a cheap takeover is on the cards.

Management more interested in issuing bonuses and rewriting rules of awards payout..

Maybe even time for a coup de something?

Four weeks ago on the 11th of May we had a TR-1 telling us:-

Sothic Capital European Opportunities Master Fund Limited
Gertjan Koomen
Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands

Had increased their holding from 14.01% to 15.57%.

From Straycat the following day, courtesy of NoR (604111):-

"Sothic Capital Management LLP has changed its name to Astaris Capital Management LLP and that Sothic Capital Management (Cayman) Ltd has changed its name to Astaris Capital Management (Cayman) Ltd."
"Sothic changed its name five months ago on 14/11 2019 to Astaris."

Sothic is our biggest shareholder, they've just changed their name.

And according to the website have since increased their shareholding to 16.48%

Thanks Thick TonyI reviewed the full CPR last night, first time I've had enough time. I still don't see £35+as plausible, but I have raised my Sale estimate from 10-20,up to 15-25, which reflects what's 90% reserve probability. Anybody interested CPR starts p. 200 of the Prospectus:
