So GKP makes cash faster than it can spend it.

True OAP , £25 mill is just 2.5 months cash generation , that is why I think GKP will spend all of it , then if the HCL is done maybe the 1st offer will come in ?

Those of us who own shares don't think it's a waste of funds, Muttley, and as they are coming from a cash machine on steroids which doesn't need to conserve any more cash, it's quite conservative too. We got an extra $18m only yesterday. You don't have to keep barking from the sidelines. You could buy some shares and join in the bonanza. Switching tack is often profitable and you've done it before, albeit in less fortunate circumstances. Come on in - don't be lonely. It's well-known that optimism is better for the soul (and body) than pessimism.

The number is irrelevant its all a pointless waste of needed funds.

No takeaway. What could the issue be? No one wants heavy oil.

More than twice B-U because of the currency gain and the lower number of shares in the free float due to the buyback. Which is why it was such a strange dividend declaration.

When the maiden dividend dropped, did anyone notice if there was joy unconfined among any of the doomsters? When the next one drops, at twice the payout, surely joy will be at least a bit unconfined, even if it is mainly very confined?

Nestoframpers they running at $ 330 k a day so far $1.65m/trading week. But in my view its stabilisation pre something else. They are now very close to having enough in treasury to satisfy the vesting of staff share options.that was the stated buyback objective. 2.8m so far, 2.835m required. After that?

30 days to spend 6.4 mill = 213 k a day or 107 days to spend 25 mill . Some time in Nov then as long as there are sellers.

Recedes Tess FGS .Lol. they not reseeding the lawn.Very funny. If the buyer is Cnpc, clearly strong favourite, they hold the largest dollar reserves in world.$10-20bn my estimate of sale consideration is small change.I don't think Gazprom /Rosneft can be discounted as possible buyers. They have plenty of dollars too. Have to wait and see.
