It's just a bullish chart pattern Jock. If you look on the daily above there's a bowl formed and if it retraces to form a smaller bowl (1/2 size of first one) that would be regarded as the handle (cup and handle). But this is beginning to look as though it won't bother with the handle having broken out from a double bottom (another bullish pattern).

BigDog I agree with what you say but if anyone was looking I would expect the outstanding problems with the field to be rectified or proven. While I may be bullish on something's others I'm particularly concerned about.

A takeout is very unlikely as any potential buyer would want to see for themselves exactly how the asset is performing and what the problems are.

We already know that the "Chinese" had a look at 3 wells last year but that has resulted in nothing. Either they weren't impressed, are waiting to see the outcome of Baghdad/Erbil talks and what that means for PSC's, or were prevented by the MNR.

It makes much more sense for someone to Farm In.

Anyways, the share price should (with POO rising) continue it's climb on the expectation of good news to come in time for the next Presentation in Feb. With a decent uplift from any new CPR plus hype on the FDP and the share price will be a great deal higher imo.
