Interesting that GKP/GENL haven't responded to latest oil price ramp.

That shock horror Shale is not doing so well.

Brent. 58.4% +2.48%.

I only post as oil price is currently only thing that moves GKP stock. As management for whatever reason clearly incappable of releasing news! LOL.

Baghdad Allocates 50 IQD Billion for Implementing Article 140
ERBIL - The Iraqi government has allocated 50 billion IQD from its 2019 budget bill for implementing article 140 of the Constitution, a Kurdish lawmaker said on Sunday.

Mariwan Nadir, a Kurdish MP of the Iraqi Parliament, said in a statement that the allocation is "a good sign" as the federal government has not paid any significant attention to this article in the past few years.

Article 140 of the Iraqi Constitution is to normalize the situation in the disputed Kurdish areas

However, Nadir pointed out that the implementation of the article, which is meant to compensate the people affected by the former Iraqi Baath regime in the disputed territories, would cost about 420 IQD billion.

"But only 50 [IQD] billion have been allocated and that would result in a delay in the process [of compensation]," the Kurdish MP said.
