"If you know so much Bigdog, why couldn't you see what a fabulous investment this was at 90%.?

A monumental error that has caused you to miss out on a 170% rise in the share price".

There's no "if". Because it isn't a fabulous investment. The current share price is completely false. You people amaze me that you cannot join up the dots in respect of the massive fall in production. You all salivate over numbers that were bragged about by the BoD years ago that are now extremely suspect and none of them have been proved up in 8 years. Lets see how fast a well gets done and the pumps go in.

I seem to recall a Guru stating that 55k can be done on just ESP's. I said no way. Who is correct?

Good morning Con 🐶

current cash $222 million (it’s a Midsummer Night’s Dream)

Add on c. $48 million for April-June 2018 production, takes it to $270 million accrued

Add on c. $91 million (most recent figure for MNR owings, less the milestone bonus), takes it to $361 million accrued basis

Add on $349 million (most recent figure) for past capex repayable to GKP from Shaikan production going forward, takes it to $710 million accrued basis

Deduct the $100 million notes, takes it to $610 million accrued basis

Current Market Capitalisation = $719 million

Current Enterprise Value = $719 million - $610 million = $109 million, accrued basis

So 68% of Shaikan is currently priced at just $109 million

Which is why we are here.

As usual, counting your barrels before reaching them and proving them up. Which of course won't be happening.

"I've been having a good old chuckle this morning thinking about the 170% profit I've made over the last 6 months, while you've made NOTHING".

Then you net them off against your massive losses and descend into depression.

"The tide has spectacularly changed for GKP based on a number of key variables all heading the same way I.e. geopolitical risks, oil price, KRG relationship. In addition they have DECADES of oil production where the cost of a barrel produced is $2.8 and will decrease. Production to increase to at least 100000 within 18 months".

The geopolitical risk is still a major problem what with relations with Turkey/Iran. Then there's Baghdad and what the implications will be as regards the PSC and Somo. Will the POO remain high. The relationship with the KRG, lol. There is no way the company can reach 100k a day in the next 18 months and its very doubtful 55k will be before 2020.

Apologies for being late but its rather difficult to type when laughing so much. My first reaction to the RNS was that little has changed from the last report and this is just another desperate attempt at spin to keep all you suckers on the hook.

Also, as for times and numbers even the most blinkered of you will note that I've been spot on. No 40k a day this year and the company are predicting 12-18 months for 55k. I've stated not before 2020 and that now looks correct.

A lot of cash needed just to get back to 40k and a massive amount for 55k. Are you positive that more dilution won't be required because it looks that way to me. Reason being it cannot be taken for granted that the MNR will be able to pay back costs. Also wouldn't it be reasonable to expect that the MNR will want their usual "pound of flesh" as they always make sure they get a good deal for themselves out of any agreements.

As for oil_investors opinion that this announcement disproves any problems with the Jurassic, it certainly doesn't. Do have a look at some posts from earlier and try real hard to join up dots. Also he assumes that the relationship with the MNR is fine, afaiu it isn't. More talks is the clue.

Lets see how long it takes the company to get the pumps in and a new drill and whether both are successful. The company are again just saying what they will do rather than actually doing it.

As regards the term "debottlenecking", isn't it a great word that can cover all manner of issues if you don't want to get specific about them?
