"That will be dealt with"

"I gave you fair warning"

Bully boy is back

And since the new home on the Last Days thread was a little lonely, how about I create a new board for investors that are sick of being threatened by OI and is clear of his misleading nonsense?

Give him all the time he needs to liaise with ADVFN over the restoration of a Phil Collins post. Retirement isn't always what it's cracked up to be IMO.

Just having a mull, shouldn't we be discussing how important the transient drainage radius at ShaiCon is, or would the 23,000,000,000 shares be of more importance?

roverite, I'm shocked, you're showing signs of being civil.

Of course the asset isn't worthless. Can you recall me mentioning the asset is colossal? I'm not guessing. But I also stated ages ago that shareholders won't get the value from it they deserve as Ferrier can only do a salvage job. That was some salvage job and imho a *rap one for PI's as there were so many other options that would have benefitted shareholders. The evidence?

23b shares.
Lost 95% of the company.
Sporadic payments, you know the rest but don't accept like so many here.
Calculate how much of an offer needs to be put on the table for PI's to get back to the figures of the past. Then ask yourself how that can be achieved when the assets are only currently 370m. And don't listen to the fake reverend.

You are only making it worse for yourself...I gave you fair warning on ongoing police investigation into stalking and other sundry fences.

O_I,

Did you recommend remuneration based on OIP?

I rather think you did...Conflicts of interest everywhere, IMO

from mgw's blog

Sundry
Today’s operational update from Genel is effectively another profits warning as production and revenue fall as the decline at Taq Taq and Tawke continues. Whilst this is still bad news the company is still loaded with cash and the area is slowly getting more attractive. On that subject GKP announced this morning that some of its August invoices from Shaikan had been paid with plenty yet to come.

The gas project is where the value is
Agreed it is at the racy end of the portfolio
But hey life would be boring otherwise!

Mr Roper: Enterprise Value is proven to give results which are very difficult to interpret. As I said, it gave a very recent figure for the EV of Gulf Keystone which was c. two-thirds of a billion dollars.

So the question then becomes: is that figure "right" for GKP, and the market capitalisation should actually be well North of where it currently is? Or is it meaningless?

Bearing in mind that when Jon Ferrier was appointed as CEO the Enterprise Value of GKP was something like $1.2 billion, one perhaps has plenty of raw material for a decent "mull"!

It would seem that roverite, a worshipper of the fake reverend, has looked at the value of his holding and is a tad disgruntled? Another poor mislead wretch?

--------------------------------

Too right I'm disgruntled , Bigdog - you're telling the truth at last .

But if I thought the asset was worthless I'd have cut my losses and moved on . I wouldn't waste a second of my time posting on the downfall of a company which I no longer had an interest in .

There's future value here I believe as the pi's interests are now aligned with our new owners . Big hurdles to clear but I'll stick with it - I make my own mind up on such matters and am beholden to no-one . If it fails I blame no-one ; personal responsibility it's called , you should try it .

So remind us all again - why are you still here ? Just pointless frustration at losing money ? Or is it something else ?

"GKP is due to receive arrears including BIR Back Costs from the KRG, GKP has just been paid (again) by the KRG, GKP and the MNR are finalising various matters including the PSC amendments which increase the GKP stake in Shaikan to 58% and slice the tax from 40% to 30%, MOL have part of Shaikan, and Dr. Ashti yesterday afternoon referenced the total sum due to the IOCs?"

agreed, it doesn't mean one is better than the other.

surprised you have genel as a long termer. Think it shows a lot of the same characteristics as GKP. Dodgy BOD, large debt, writing down assets, spending to arrest field decline, unreliable host govt, unstable geopolitics, gas project on the never never etc. That cash pile won't last for ever.

EV is just an absolute number, in itself it doesnt mean one is better than the other

Anyway Genel is in my long term investment portfolio and GKP is a short term trade

What's it going to be: "sign this document Mr. Ferrier surrendering the Shaikan PSC to the MNR, or we'll tickle your feet even more?"

"Hee hee hee, give me the pen, and I'll sign!"

Something like that?!

-----------------------

Is that how they took back SA? How fiendish.

Btw, the reference to the MNR getting ShaiCon doesn't necessarily refer to taking direct from GKP. But who knows.

It would be interesting to know what the Bondholders average shareprice. Given the massive dilution I should imagine it wouldn't be much far north of here.
But whatever it is that will be the glass ceiling for the time being as they would no doubt take the opportunity to take a profit asap. Shame I didn't have enough cash to get my average further down, only 99.5% down on original investment...happy days, also got Genel which will also take a while to turn around - oh well.....

"Oil In Place is *nothing to do* with flow rates. As I have explained before. You can have a reservoir with a lot of OIP but none of it will flow. Again, as I have explained before."

So can you kindly explain to the rest of us ordinary mortals why you and Opus defended remuneration linked to OIP?

---------------

Great post dizzylizzy and although this has been mentioned for years is this conclusive proof that the man is just a fraud? It ought to be clear to all that he has mislead for years imo.

Enterprise Value cannot give the correct answer here. In my opinion.

This is evidenced by the EV of GKP, shortly before the Restructuring, of being two-thirds of a billion dollars.
