31/3/2024 07:45 | 50 quid plus very likely."Its possible to use a variety of methodologies to value GKP.Net entitlement reserves are huge and have an NPV justifying a sale price well in excess of $ 4bn - around £14 /share+Currently the company is debt free - by now pushing $ 85m at bank and generating annualised FCF/profits of approx $ 50m even on local sales pricing. When Baghdad capitulate as we are seeing is in progress exports resume , we are looking at$ 400-450 EBITDA for 2025On a multiple of 12 - looking at $5bn valuation - $ 17/share.Given the prospectivity remaining in Shaikan and the incredibly low lift costs plus existing infra-stucture , the competition amongst majors to buy this interest in such a prized asset will be extremely high.Hence IMO takeover will be minimum £ 25 /share." | furenstaurus
31/3/2024 05:28 | Talking about the ICG and possible Trump sanctions. They have just signed a 5 year agreement with Iran to import gas. I cant see him going for this either. So it will have to be a bit more than an ICG "rethink". | highlander7
31/3/2024 00:39 | You must have lost a lot of cash to keep posting this money years on, extremely bitter | milliecusto
30/3/2024 22:52 | No budget agreement. No oil law. No pipe. Only around 100m reserves Net. Resources no value. No offers. No divis. New terms on the way. Local price being paid per barrel falling. Baghdad in no hurry. No wonder the share price is 1p. | bigdog5

30/3/2024 18:54 | The mullahs will be getting worried. Only 7 months to the election. Shafaq News - "Trump vows to prevent Iranian nuclear weapons development." "The former US president pointed out that "the Iranian economy collapsed during my presidency due to the sanctions imposed on it." He added, "I told 47 countries that if they buy oil from Iran, they will not do any business in the United States, and we will impose tariffs on their products." | habshan

30/3/2024 17:24 | Sarah and Tony lost their shirts with GKP during early 2012. 12 years ago, but Sarah can't stop trolling on this board due to mental trauma. | johnbuysghost
30/3/2024 16:27 | Iraq and Turkiye eye security agreement. Basnews - "Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is scheduled to visit Baghdad and Erbil. The visit will bolster bilateral ties between Iraq and Turkiye, including the Kurdistan Region. The visit could help discuss many issues between the two neighboring countries, including the PKK presence in Iraq, the oil shipments from the Kurdistan Region to the Turkish port of Ceyhan, and the Development Road Project." | habshan

30/3/2024 14:18 | People that sell second hand land rover parts aren't best suited to valuing O&G companies 😂 | 0ili0
30/3/2024 14:07 | "No one wanted the company when it was up for sale prior to the great shareholder wipeout of 14th July 2016 and DNO walked away after offering around 70p ps cash." Now then Sarah, you're really not very good at this are you, it's been explained to you many times before:- "The board of Gulf Keystone has rejected DNO ASA's proposal to acquire the total share capital of the company, which it received by letter on July 28. "Completion of the restructuring best serves our stakeholders and we will not engage in any additional process that causes the company to be distracted from that objective. The company has responded to DNO accordingly", Gulf Keystone said in a company statement. Cantor Fitzgerald Oil Analyst Sam Wahab tells Proactive - "In terms of DNO I think they're really playing down the value of Shaikan as an asset which comes across as slightly contrived in my opinion given that if they didn't believe it to be a good producer they wouldn't be coming back to the table looking to acquire it again." | habshan
30/3/2024 13:56 | It's already been over £3 without an agreement so to suggest that as a max with a oil and gas law in place is nonsense. | shortsqueezer
30/3/2024 13:53 | Do oil companies usually pay 25-50 times more than they could buy the company for!!! No one wanted the company when it was up for sale prior to the great shareholder wipeout of 14th July 2016 and DNO walked away after offering around 70p ps cash. So to put such a ludicrous value on the company suggests drugs are in evidence. And that's before the new terms are known, lol, lol. | bigdog5
30/3/2024 13:50 | Real world £2.50 /£5 absolutely max !! | diamondandpearls
30/3/2024 13:12 | £25-50 according to my source. Based on current CPR and OP. | highlander7 |
