You stated they've tried it on at least 4 times so lets see the mentions of the court cases and the listing the specific companies.

Or is it all pure invented BS that you're well known for?

"On the ties with the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), the program stipulates that Baghdad will work to effectuate the Sinjar agreement, address the security gaps between the Peshmerga and federal forces, and bolster the cooperation with Erbil on outstanding issues."

"Taking account of the low lifting costs, the business friendly and almost pastoral onshore environment (Kurdistan being far removed from popular images of Middle Eastern deserts) such consolidation could potentially be both sudden and substantial.
The Kurdish Globe reported on the 27th April 2015 that "a regular payment cycle has been an elusive goal but with the increased export figures from Kurdistan and with further rises in production targeted, Kurdistan is ready to assume the next step in its journey as a major oil player". It went on to say that "the region may yet witness a consolidation of the oil industry, a logical step in any blossoming oil industry where many small to mid-sized companies dot the landscape. The Kurdistan Regional Government has a strong interest in ensuring any acquisitions and mergers happen on the terms that protect the region"

"Dr. Ashti Hawrami the Minister of Natural Resources for Kurdistan forecast, in a 2012 interview with the Financial Times, that there would be a wave of consolidation in the Kurdistan oil sector. He considered that the number of operators in the region would soon shrink from 50 to 20 or less. "We're moving from the small and the beautiful to the large and the magnificent" was how he put it. Similar sentiments have been expressed by senior executives from both Genel Energy and Gulf Keystone Petroleum. The general mood seems to be: provide regular payments to the exporting oil producers, and the consolidation process will then occur."

H7 - "The International Court ruling has been the same. Kurdish PSC's are legal under the Constitution."

Bigdog - "Where's the links and proof h7 or is it just in your mind again all in order to mislead?"

Right here Sarah.

It was discussed to death only a few weeks ago, try to keep up ffs.

Commercial High Court judge Justice Sir C.J.Butcher:- "In my judgement, the entry into by the KRG of the PSCs were "sovereign or public acts" or acts jure imperii. They were entered into pursuant to powers which, as I have found, were allocated to the KRG under the Constitution, and under the KROGL (Kurdistan Region Oil and Gas Law), which was enacted to give effect to those powers. I conclude that the entry into of the PSCs was in the exercise of sovereign authority."

LOL. "Why would a loser on an online bulletin board know what the high level government officials in Kurdistan want? Deluded fantasist".

Well Nufc at least you now realise and sign off as a deluded fantasist. There's hope for you yet:-)

It's been well known for many years that the hosts have always preferred a consolidation of companies in their backyard.

You're welcome.

"Shafaq News/ Kurdistan's Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Wednesday said he hopes the federal and regional governments enact a law on hydrocarbons under the rule of Mohammad Shiyaa al-Sudani's cabinet".

Like they've been hoping to get one agreed on their terms for 15+ years?

It's not going to happen. Any agreement will only be agreed if its heavily in Baghdad's favor and not as h7 has tried to con you.

You're welcome.

"and the share price rises ? LOL

This is at least the 4th time they have tried this trick and each time the International Court ruling has been the same. Kurdish PSC's are legal under the Constitution. A Constitution that the ICG refuses to acknowledge".

Where's the links and proof h7 or is it just in your mind again all in order to mislead?

There have been announcements by Baghdad of illegality before but I don't recall there being any Court cases and specific mentions of various producers. Then there's the references to "smuggled oil" which of course brings Turkey into the problem.

Care to comment?

Prime Minister-Designate Mohammad Shia' Al-Sudani says his cabinet will draft a number of bills within six months, including Federal Council Law and Federal Court Law, according to his cabinet's agenda.

Al-Sudani calls for avoiding any "escalatory measures" against Kurdistan Region and the oil companies operating there in order to avoid "harming the national economy," per his cabinet's agenda.

The prime minister-designate stresses Erbil-Baghdad's cooperation on "decisions and dossiers" that are related to Kurdistan Region, according to the document.
