Among the speakers are Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani, the Region’s Prime Minister Masrour Barzani as well as Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani.

Mr Carroll the net entitlement would be around 250m barrels. Very strange that a BS err of your caliber doesn't know that. You are actually using a lower figure than you need to and you're welcome:-)

The 250m is after taking account of the hosts being able to "back in" for 20% +7.5% +7.5% and a reasonable but fair downgrade to the Jurassic barrels that need to be reduced due to all the water found at various levels at several wells where they anticipated there was heavy oil. They've always "counted them into the CPR's".

You "investors" should also understand that the company obviously have zero confidence in what has been previously thought to be in the Triassic and that's why they been forced to move those numbers into "Resources". That of course supports my long held view that after thirteen years they still have no clue about the field. And for good reason which you "investors" either don't understand or desperately ignore.

The Cretaceous isn't worth spending on and it ought to be clear to you rampers that the Permian is a fantasy.

Wasn't there another of your predicted takeaways due today Mr Carroll?

As evidenced by the GKP threads on ADVFN, some investors (or, apparently, now anti-investors) here have been engaged with the company for well over a decade. I thought that it would be an interesting exercise to see what the outcome would have been for a doggedly stupid investor (DSI) in GKP since its listing. This investor (as opposed to the clever dogs posting here) is blindly ignorant of the company's fortunes, its share price, and the merits of its management, over the entire period.

For convenience, I used the Yahoo Finance data series, which starts in early September 2004, and took the listed share prices for early September each year since then until 2022. Yahoo's data are adjusted for the 100-to-1 consolidation in September 2016. I assumed that DSI invested £1000 in GKP shares at that September price each year, allowing for a 2—3% hike to cover commission and offer-price premium.

By now, DSI has spent £19,000 to accumulate 4410 shares. So far, she has received £4916 in dividends, of which £3564 was paid in 2022, corresponding to a current annual yield of 18.75% on her total investment. In her ignorance, she still isn't fretting about her loss.
