Nufc and all, let's hope we get the progress that Barzani has repeatedly shown his commitment to.

The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, on Tuesday made a congratulatory phone call to the new Iraqi Prime Minister, the presidency of the Region said.

The official statement said, "We warmly congratulate all Iraqis on this important step of the newly formed cabinet obtaining the confidence, and the new government program winning the approval."

"Our special congratulations to Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Sudani and his cabinet members. We wish them all success in their duties."

It added, "We hope that this promising step will be the beginning of the end of the suffering of the Iraqi people and a new start to resolve the problems and the crises, to promote economic growth and to support the development of services, to strengthen stability and security, to correct the political process, to resolve the disputes between Erbil and Baghdad, to restore the trust of the people in state institutions, and to address the legitimate demands of the citizens."

"On this occasion, we affirm the support of the Kurdistan Region for the success of the new government’s agenda and the realization of its promises. As always, we reiterate our readiness to resolve all issues between Erbil and Baghdad through dialogue and within the framework of the constitution."

"We reiterate that it is our collective responsibility to find solutions to the various problems in Iraq and to overcome the hardships of this period. The interests of Iraqis and all its communities require all of us to fulfill our duties", the statement concluded.

Evening all. I have to laugh at the daily drivel from across the pond. My meagre investment in GKP which has gone up and down over the last 12 months has earnt me a very nice tax free dividend of just over £31k. Share price higher than when I initially invested and now all my holding is in a shares ISA. Lovely jubbly. Throughout that 12 months I've ignored mut nuts desperate daily 'golden nuggets' of advice. Glad I did, thank you mutty nuts. Looking forward to even more tax free dividends and maybe more. In it to make money and that I have. And I don't see any reason why that won't continue. Good luck all holders

And the moron's delusion goes on, its hysterical, lol, lol, lol.

Sales implementation agreements, lol.

Timeline predicted to be 6 months for an oil law, lol.

6 months for Baghdad to get what they want at the expense of the Kurds more like.

FDP that's been coming for years, 55k a day that's been coming for over 8 years, massively costly Gas flaring to be sorted, water pouring into several of the licences according to the hosts!!!

Absolutely zero interest in the asset if 250m Reserves of very heavy oil and naff all else can be described as an asset!!!

Top of any Majors list lol, lol, lol.

If it was a decent asset it would have been snapped up years ago. Its not and there's the reason why it hasn't. share price at 2p despite the fake oil price and the divis are the clues.

You're welcome and all for free.

One thing I have come to expect from GKP and the Kurds is the unexpected. Oil doesnt have much time left , maybe a decade or two. Not much if your economy depends on it.
So IMO anything can happen now that they seem to have agreed some sort of a deal with the HCL.

Sounds like they may all have enough shares and also houses are getting cheaper in the UK.

LOL

If the HCL is going to be agreed, the buyer will want to move before it officially announced.

---------

I have been saying for what seems a life time they will not go prior to full legitimacy as they have a lot of pension funds invested who do not like any drama. World economic confidence is at near rock bottom , we will just have to wait and see with more divis to come hopefully.

H7,

they haven't agreed on anything in a decade so I'll stick to minimum:-)

Can they delay the FDP 6 months?

They need to start getting the maximum out of Shaikan PDQ while the going is good imo

Agreed, and the MNR mafia will want this sold before any tie ups with Baghdad.

Will a buyer want to wait until the HCL is actually in place? That means a load of P.I's will race to buy shares.... they don't want that.

If the HCL is going to be agreed, the buyer will want to move before it officially announced.

Oil company ExxonMobil has reported a quarterly profit of nearly $20bn (£17.3bn), $4bn more than analysts had forecast, almost matching the earnings of tech giant Apple.Just have to wait for the HCL.

xasY, I guess you agree the best time to have gotten into SHG was BEFORE the takeover discussions were announced.....

If as is most likely the takeover is friendly, and was entered into via a sales implementation agreement signed probably a few years back then an in mkt buyback is counter to the UK takeover code, they have agreed to comply with.
Hence they don’t
