More nonsense from this idiot. There are International regulations regarding the location of gas flares for oil production and being X kilometers from population densities is one of them. The location also has to be justified by risk assessment and environmental assessments. A 2nd factor is that flare gas is hot and quickly rises into the atmosphere and dissipates which is why flare towers have to be a specific hieght. So post the link regarding these so called health issues you 2 claim are from GKP flaring. I wont hold my breath and note I said GKP FLARING.

I note that nestofBS is again mentioning the fabled FP's, lol. As I've said before it's not just oil that finds it's way into fractures, water does, just more easily.

Also, isn't it really odd how the Reserves have never been added to with all the wells and huge fractures? Data and results are completely at odds with each other?

Then of course there's the hosts stating they don't have 45b of proven reserves. In fact they said the number is way less than 3b!!! Is that why the hosts have stated that water is flooding into the fractures at several of their fields? Is shaiCON immune from such a problem?

It's also very odd that the Kozel BS barrels and data disappeared when he was sacked innit. Then he got banged up for telling porkies. Is there a pointer there at all? Just a mull?

The rate is currently at 1.07 which would be great and give 10.8 pps. It should have already been fixed because an RNS is due to be issued tomorrow telling us what it is.

Let's hope that it has been because there's talk of the BoE calling an emergency meeting and raising the interest rate by another 0.5% which would cause a jump in the value of sterling, so fingers crossed.

New Iraqi coalition to discuss drafting oil, gas law: OfficialToday 11:46
RBIL, Kurdistan Region - The Sunnis, Kurds, and Iran-backed Coordination Framework are working towards forming a coalition that will draft a long-anticipated oil and gas law agreed upon by the Iraqi and Kurdish governments, the second deputy speaker of Iraq’s parliament told Rudaw on Monday as the body prepares to convene.

The framework is close to announcing a coalition with the two main Kurdish political parties and the Sunnis to expedite the government formation process as s the legislature approaches its one-year mark without a cabinet.

Shakhawan Abdullah told Rudaw's Sangar Abdulrahman that the agreement between the parties of the coalition, reportedly named “Running the State Coalition,” stipulates that an oil and gas law “must” be drafted.

“The constitution rules on the topic of oil [and gas] … the oil and gas law between the federal government and the regional government will be drafted with an agreement," Abdullah said while stressing that the law will be drafted with a “complete agreement so that one political side does not possess greater influence.”

The Iraqi Federal Supreme Court ruled against the Kurdistan Region's oil and gas law in mid-February, claiming that it was "unconstitutional", hence striking down the independence of the Kurdistan Region's oil and gas sector and putting its industry in jeopardy.

Abdullah said that the top court’s ruling against the Region's oil and gas law will serve as a "boost" for drafting the oil and gas law.

The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) demands the new Iraqi government to address the oil and gas law and other issues related to Kurdish rights, MP Sherwan Dubardani told Rudaw's Nazanin Goran on Monday.

On Wednesday, the US called on Iraq and the Kurdistan Region to work together to address ongoing oil and gas disputes, saying the solution to the dispute must come internally without any foreign interference.

Iraq's parliament is expected to convene on Wednesday in its first meeting since June 23. The legislative body suspended its session on July 30 after supporters of powerful Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr stormed the legislature building and demanded the dissolution of parliament and the holding of early elections.

The session will be the first after weeks-long protests and political tensions across Iraq. MPs are expected to vote on the resignation of Parliamentary Speaker Mohammed al-Halbousi’s resignation, the meeting’s agenda showed.

Good to see sentiment gradually return throughout the day, but as usual, Bot's keeping the price under control so they can gather up a few more. Let's all hope Iraq as a whole have finally realised that they are better agreeming regardless of differencies as opposed to the recent unrest. Us LTH have been here many times before but there must have been a lot of effort from the USA behind the scenes to finally put the Oil & Gas Law to bed.

Hi Nest, according to jackohelp, this was stated in a presentation to analysts in 2012 (post 206935) :-

"In terms of the Jurassic matrix, the overall fracture or amount of oil retained is higher than expected, where originally it was thought 0.8%, but is now proven to be some 3%. The main takeaway on the back of SH5 SH6 is we can expect an increase again in OIP on Shaikan."
