23/9/2022 15:38 | "Citing disconnect in the oil futures market, Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman dangled the threat of potential OPEC+ production cuts that could come at any time." Like at the next OPEC meeting 12 days from now. Or even sooner. The shorters are playing a dangerous game. "We are the Guardians of this industry." And next week we'll get the payment for June. And the pound is dropping like a stone, now at 1.0903, divi now at 10.60pps. All is well. | habshan

23/9/2022 13:42 | Still no one rocked up to save you desperate fantasists, how strange, lol. Are they all still "accumulating" shares after 15 years? Are they all still evaluating the falling reserves and wondering why it's taken 15 wells to reach 45k a day? More wells but production and Reserves falling. It's a good job the fake oil price has come to the rescue as otherwise the share price imho would be way less than £1.50. Now where have we heard those words before? Oh that's correct, the hosts have announced that they have way less than 3b proven Reserves rather than the 45b they've been announcing for many years!!! Now that's a downgrade innit, lol. Could it be that around 250m barrels of very heavy oil, (value of resources worth naff all) water flooding into several of the "last great frontier's" fields according to the hosts, no oil law and very unlikely there will be one, Baghdad blacklisting companies working in Kurdistan, field pressure problems, the need for extremely costly gas flaring and water handling facilities to install and no FDP are putting them off? Could it be that it's only the divis that have kept the Insti's onboard? So what happens when the company aren't able to pay them? | bigdog5
23/9/2022 12:18 | Good time for GKP to announce a buy back of 13.5m shares. | sbb1x

23/9/2022 10:47 | When's this take over coming! | urchin1
23/9/2022 10:25 | The market isn't impressed with the level of borrowing needed to finance the mini budget that the Chancellor has just announced. The pound has fallen to 1.1189 against the dollar. If that level is maintained until next Wednesday the dividend will be paid at 10.33 pence per share. For those of us that own shares that is, but as usual Bigdog will get nothing. | habshan
23/9/2022 08:51 | G_C - "They can fund staged FDP and higher dividend levels." Ian Weatherdon - "High oil prices are great in terms of cash flow and opportunities to pay dividends, however when we set our spending programme and we look long term we don't bank on these prices we plan at a much lower price of $50-55 a barrel and of course we ensure that we can sustain at prices much lower than that." | habshan
23/9/2022 08:42 | They surely have/will have hedged POO.They have the capacity to generate around 600m bucks per annumAnd they have now proforma cash about 230m in hand ( bank + debtors)They can fund staged FDP and higher dividend levels.I still don't expect them to do it independently though..... | giant_canine
23/9/2022 08:37 | “They have flagged in last 2 presentation review dividend policy. I expect them to a announce quarterly regular divs with an annual total minimum 100m plus.” Hmmm I think you may have misunderstood the reviewing of dividend policy. I remember seeing the the ‘review of dividend policy’ mentioned alongside the approval of the FDP. I was taking this to mean that once the FDP is approved we may not see any dividends at all | nufc9 |
