Separately, sure GKP may be in play - but I have read that for what, ten years?
I too was in Cove before it was taken over - sold after the threat of the special tax - nevertheless, I did well. So, yes, I witnessed the shenanigans on the share price just before the RNS - but it was nowhere near the scale we are seeing here. I know Shaikan is substantially bigger, but nevertheless.

The trades are odd - I watched the screen a fair bit today and it was at 9.18.30 that the share price very quickly went from 216 to 218.5 by 9.18.50 and it was then squashed down quickly. It happened quickly, as if it was a "normal" market, then the ATs squashed it back. I was about to buy as I saw it take off, but by the time I was about to buy I sensed it was going back down. Small volume - anyhow I was very surprised at the speed of the up and then down.

The volatility is ridiculous and the mkt cap is way over sold.
But what do I know, other than I can't bet against the market for very long.

He hates Todd Kozel because it was TK that made him buy all these shares that he lost all his pension money on. So he has been trying to damage GKP in revenge, and has been doing it for a decade or more.

Nothing to do with his own ignorance , greed and stupidity of course.

Well i could point out nearly 30000 from 1 person BB.
To be honest i like reading all posts.
I dont block anyone
I trust noone that on here. (As it should be)
Been invested since around 2011.
Read the iii boards and now here.
From BBBS spreadsheet proposing fortunes to doggy gloom.
But I totally fail to understand the point if spending countless hours knocking a share unless there is a alternate motive.
Hopefully all true invested make their own fortune here.

I honestly dont see the point in dog5 existence:
Either he/she has lost a lot of money historically on GKP and wants to make others suffer, or,
He is a paid deramper (this is the only real reason i can see) if do thats a massive positive for me. Why bash something so much?
The fact this oddity spends so much time negativity posting is beyond sad. I actually pity him/her.
I might lose every penny invested in this stock, i might make a few bob, but i wont have wasted countless hours / days / years / posting about a stock im allegedly not invested in.
Go chase a stick doggy…. Have some happiness and forget about gkp

Market cap now c$520m. $247m in cash in June, but has payments due from KRG of April, May, June to come = net c$150m. So despite $75m in dividends paid for July & $100m bond payment have to assume cash quickly moves back above $200m = c40% of MC.

It might be the SB firms looking for margin calls , they seem to have amazing knowledge about deals , it would be great to see some of them go to jail.

I knew a bloke that had a case going with DHSS over a long time when he finally won and got a big pay out he never got to spend it as he dropped dead . Hope if we do go from gory to glory that will not happen to any LTHs GLA.

The Iraq government has always seen the krg oil contracts as illegal since before gkp struck oil back in the day, gkp and all companies carried on working for the krg.The oil was not to be sold as it was illegal according to the Iraqi government when gkp et al started producing oil for the krg and the Iraqi government tried leaning on oil traders to stop the sale of krg oil all those years ago yet oil went to market and continues to go to market and after a while the Iraqi government took a cut of that krg oil revenue and paid some of its budget responsibilities in return, oil was a lot less in price then and as you rightly say if the krg get no budget then oil companies get no monies, and bond holders can't get us if no bonds owed as previously, however, oil price is high and will remain high, recession bringing it down in price is a muse, oil in the long run is only going very much up in future price due to the very real scarcity the commodity is/will become shortly. With high oil prices krg will have no problems paying oil companies and so we will continue earning approximately half a billion dollars a year and will be able to continue as normal. This status quo of Saudi and the Middle East providing oil to the world is very much ending, Saudi has and is spending billions and billions on build a whole new infrastructure to run their economy off tourism as they know their production is running low, hence the very recent selling off of their National oil company. They know what's coming and it is not low oil prices, in fact it is the opposite. I think little old gkp will do okay in the future along with its holders, my only concern is that if the fabled as in forever fabled takeover ever happens it won't be for the fields real worth, I'm not greedy and find it hard to believe we would ever sell for more than a tender but I can dream, realistically anything above the original eight pound price will do for me

Yes the Insti's in the know always dump their shares when aware of offers on the way!!!!!

Unless of course they know the offers are much less than the current share price
