Javier Blas - Bloomberg - OPEC has just released its first 2023 supply-and-demand oil balances forecast: 'It anticipates very strong oil consumption growth (+2.7m b/d) on the back of covid recovery and pent-up demand and despite recession fears. Non-OPEC supply will lag (+1.7m b/d). Call on OPEC crude oil production, mb/d - 2022/23 OPEC forecast for next year is, in many ways, impossible: it won't happen. By 4Q 2023, the cartel sees it needs to supply the market 32m b/d, up from June's output of 28.7m b/d. Even assuming Saudi hits 12m b/d, and UAE goes to 4m b/d, the group would be short.'

The Saudi's recently stated they no longer rely on data from the US Energy Information (IEA), implicitly suggesting its being manipulated to serve US interests. Paper v Physical Oil Pricing: While the paper oil price was falling back this week to $100/bbl the Saudi's were busy hiking their official selling price (OSP) for August-loading Arab Light to Asia by $2.80 a barrel from July to $9.30 a barrel over Oman/Dubai quotes, close to the all time record high premium of $9.35 per barrel hit in May when Brent averaged $117/bbl.... on the strength that "Refining margins are very solid and we expect demand to stay robust"

Or mine of £1.50 Asset value, plus say 20% premium and perhaps some for the equipment and what's left at Bank. £2 the lot?

The divis will be pointed to in order to assuage the anger/disappointment which amount to around £1.80 ish?

So all in all less than 4p in old money:-)

Its obvious that Warren Buffet didnt listen to the warnings from BD5 and Broadford Bay before investing ~ $50 BILLION in the Oil & Gas Sector , and probably GKP.
