The annual ordinary dividend of $25 million is expected to be paid on 15 July 2022, based on a record date of 1 July 2022, and is equivalent to 11.561 US cents and 9.574p per Common Share of the Company.

The special dividend of $50 million is expected to be paid on 29 July 2022, based on a record date of 15 July 2022, and is equivalent to 23.122 US cents and 19.540p per Common Share of the Company

According to HL the June divi payment date is tomorrow 15th and the one that went ex divi today is the 29th July.

It wouldn't surprise me if JH is planning another initiative. Repay the bond on the same day as another mega payment for sales? It ain't gonna languish down here beyond the month end imo and I believe the bond repayment will be the trigger for corporate action of some nature.

You are right to buy.If you don't believe takeover very near, then you buying a pushing 40% ADDITIONAL yield for 2022.If you do believe takeover near , it will be at serious multiples.When debt paid off the EV here end July = around 450-500,m dollars.lol.absurd.

I am just spending some of the divi money to come early, compounding some of the monies as usual, the rest can wait to see if it goes lower, crazy markets at the moment so might get even more crazy cheapness here, but I am positive there will be more dividends this year hence compounding some of my dividends

With another receipt , bank will be 100m ish end month after all outgoings.Could easily offer 150-200m further divs second half that's "60-80p fwd yield 28-38% currently.Obvs won't be anymore however as co sold TBA

That's normal Martym. Now there's a big gap up and it might stay around this level long enough to get the first divi in. There were some big trades after hours yesterday where the entitled presumably got the divi and sold at the pre-divi price.
